You have to replace xxxxxx with the park... for example... Great adventure: https://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure/store/flash-sale-zap Great Escape: https://www.sixflags.com/greatescape/store/flash-sale-zap Darien Lake https://www.sixflags.com/darienlake/store/flash-sale-zap etc. Also, I did some more digging and found the Darien Lake accesso store page, but the only thing listed is the GOLD+ membership currently. https://sf-dl.secure.sixflags.com/packageDetails/80003385/navItem/Memberships It lets you check out and everything, lol... though I would not recommend... especially since they haven't yet applied the subdomain security certificate. And. You know. The sale hasn't actually started yet and nothing is finalized. Nothing really noteworthy except the sport bottles will be TEAL and "Note: In-park discounts and friend tickets will be available at the beginning of the 2019 season (not available this fall)." since I'm sure they will still be in the old ticketing until next season. I'm still 50/50 if it will be branded Six Flags or if it will be Great Escaped / La Ronde'd. No references to Six Flags anywhere. But that doesn't necessarily mean that won't change.

^ to throw a possible hole in that, it says there is "no processing deadline" for buying the membership, so does that mean if you're already a passholder and are smart about it you can hypothetically buy it now for the same price and process it at the beginning of the season next year? Or do memberships always become active the second you buy it even if you haven't gotten a card yet? You wouldn't get the benefits of the pass this year but you'd still get your extra 3 months hypothetically.

Quick question for those with Diamond Elite passes. For SINGLE DAY flash passes It says flash pass discount of $15 but it also says free level upgrade. So if REGULAR flash pass is $40 it would cost $25 for a gold flash pass? Do they double stack like that? I would imagine it wouldn't be one or the other because the upgrade is already going to win out price-wise. Seems like a good deal if that's the case. Is one pass discount good for multiple people when it comes to purchasing flash pass? Ie: can I get the discount for a 2 person flash pass with only one diamond elite card? (since it's all one transaction anyways? Or does every person need the elite?) Just trying to price out my game plan for the flash sale... thinking of doing one diamond elite and one standard gold pass for maximum value for a couple. I'm pricing out every single option because I'm a cheapo like that.

https://www.sixflags.com/xxxxxxxx/store/flash-sale-zap Get a preview of flash sale prices for your local park by replacing xxxxxx with your local park website name. Not all info is entirely accurate yet, but it looks like I'll be processing my Darien Lake pass on August 30 and heading straight to some other Six Flags parks for the holiday weekend! Assuming they have their s*it together. Which I bet they won't and they won't have any idea what I'm talking about our why anyone in their right mind would buy one... For memberships you get the 2 (or 4 at some parks) pass discount for single passes during the flash sale, as well as 3 free months at the end of your term... so when you cancel you get 3 months after that.... at least that's how I understand the fine print. As pointed out below, not really a deal compared to the regular pass, but, *shrug* guess it's better than nothing.

Gold passes (not the memberships) from other parks are no good at the water park. Thrill pass is no good either. If you specifically got what is labeled the "combo pass" from great adventure, then water park is included. All membership levels starting with GOLD+ include the water park. If you go in the app it will tell you what your pass is good for of you click the little info button on the. "My six flags"page. I bought my pass at SFMM and it's good for their water park, but no others. It's not very straightforward since they offer 20 types of passes and memberships. Also if you pick a park it's not valid for, I just discovered it will give you a warning:

Just renewed my Platinum passes for next year! Interesting Season Pass notes: - In 2019, unlimited visits to Haunt (and WinterFest) will be included with Gold and Platinum passes. It used to always be a hard ticket event regardless of what pass you had, so that is a welcome change! - if you buy a new 2019 pass you get all of 2018 included (not parking though) for unlimited visits. In previous years it was 1 single visit for the previous season... not unlimited. As for the ride... damn, I'm excited. I was not expecting such an awesome layout. Looking forward to this one! -
I wonder whatever happened to that guy? I wonder if he is still into coasters or if he has moved on. I bet he doesn't go to Darien Lake anymore, lol. Last I heard I think he was living in Florida... Anyway, cool map! Thanks for putting it all together. It's truly fascinating how much land that park sits on.

I didn't think that was the case, and I think you are lucking out at whatever parks you were able to bring multiple people per individual skip the line pass. In the official PDF guide online (that shows all the restrictions), and chatting with a live agent long ago, nowhere does it state "for up to four people". If that was the case I would get it in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I can't find "up to four people" in any Six Flags documentation. Also from a Q&A at SFNE when they were first announced: "How many people in your group can use the skip the line pass?" Just the person with the benefit. Its one per person per membership, so if only you have it, only you can, if everybody has it, then everybody can use it. Edit: I see the person below me has had the same experience. JINX

Weight Management Support/Enouragement thread

I stopped tracking my calories and stopped weighing myself every day. This was more than a month ago. My fiancee said I looked thinner and I thought she was crazy, sure enough right after eating a deep fried Snickers and a blooming onion at the fair, I somehow got to my lowest of 241 since I started this thing. Hooray! More motivation to keep going even though I haven't been trying too hard. -
Awesome update. -- Fun fact: I've only been to this park after-dark twice in my life, once as a kid, and once by my lonesome on a super crowded day and ended up leaving after riding Magnum and Rougarou at night since it was so busy (my fiancee got sick and stayed at the hotel that night). Since it's a 4 hour drive back home, unless we get a hotel (which I don't really do because it's only a four hour drive), we don't stay too late as we always go on low crowd days, get on everything we want to, and then get home before 10p because we have to go to work the next day (and because we probably woke up at 5am to make it for early entry) HOWEVER! I'm going to the park this weekend, and I'm staying in a hotel for 2 nights, and I might get an hour or two in Friday night in addition to all day/night Saturday (with FL+ and a midnight close!), and half day Sunday. So basically, I'm really psyched to get on some rides at night, finally. Especially after hearing your experiences and seeing your photos. 8) I can only imagine how bats*it crazy Steel Vengeance is going to be. *drool*

What degree angle is considered upside-down? 91 degrees? 180 degrees? "Well if we make it a 90 degree wave turn them we can use lapbars but if we make it 91 degrees it needs over the shoulder restraints! Because TSSA said so!" Sounds ridiculous to me... Based on my limited research, Leviathan has an over bank at 115°... isn't that upside down? Or does it have to be exactly 180°? -
Do any other Six Flags parks still do the Batman Stunt Show? I'd like to see that back. Better yet bring back the ride rotation program so we can get Nightmare at Phantom Cave again. I'm sure the facade is still behind the current backdrop, lol. Crazier things have happened... Also lmao at antique cars being getaway cars. Honestly I could see a freespin in our future and I think it would be an awesome addition.

Glad I got out of there when I did; more layoffs yet again. I feel bad for everyone (no longer) working there. I just had that hunch to get out of there when I did to avoid all the drama. I really felt they really were a great company to work for and treated their workers and animals really well. Unfortunately, I don't see this uptick in financials being long term. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know why I'm so focused on this, but ummmm... what? Half a cup of soda in your pocket? Who does that? I'm literally so confused. If you meant a closed bottle with a screw top, then why would it have to be half full. Anyways... just make sure you take it out of your pocket before riding. Otherwise it would be more like skyCRUSH! I'll see myself out. -
Since you asked: No... it doesn't. Does anyone *actually* want to see this ride rebuilt? Even if they were crazy enough to refurbish it?? The ride is 32 years old. Sorry if I'm coming across as rude, I just find it ridiculous that this is still being talked about after 13 years of it sitting in an overgrown field. Even still now that the track has finally been removed. Even the GM last year had said on multiple occasions that it's not even considered storage and they have no plans to rebuild it: http://www.thedailynewsonline.com/bdn05/roller-coaster-remains-mothballed-at-darien-lake-20170504
