^^ Full Throttle is technically the fastest coaster in the world with a loop (tied with Viper, and Superman Krypton Coaster(and Speed if it gets rebuilt)), hence the looping coaster moniker that the GP will interpret as fastest coaster with inversions (not true, that's technically Furius Baco now and formerly Steel Phantom) the tallest is indeterminable as the only height figure we have is for the loop (160 feet) if the total height variance from the highest point to lowest is more than 188 feet then it is also the "tallest" by one of the two most common definitions. Full Throttle will also have the tallest loop in the world. Basically the marketing is all most likely true on some level but is stated in such a way as to be interpreted in such a way that would be incorrect but is more impressive. Finally they never actually stated any of the things you said, you simply drew those assumptions from what I would call an effective marketing effort.

Free fall towers

Intamins are good, Lex is great for the view alone but also has a great drop and is probably my second fav, ARM/Larsons towers are the best in the business, Panic Plunge is my favorite by a mile and half, not accounting for double shots. -

As soon as I saw the Cheetah Hunt teaser with the figure eight I wanted to see one really similar but with a flying snake dive sort of roll on the exit instead of just a drop. -

On a similar note, since I don't want to start a new topic for it, does anyone have g graphs for Cyclops in the back seat? -

I just discovered the Uncylopedia on coasters. I almost died laughing. -
I personally think that Lord of the Rings just wouldn't translate very well into a theme park since it takes place over such a vast area and only has one or two good starting points for attractions. I also wouldn't really want a Lord of the Rings area just because I feel it would be a tacky rendition of a really amazing story.

Yeah, I realize that most of that stuff was taken from other Tolkien works but I also think that it felt like they were milking pretty hard to make it long enough to be 3 parts. That said the troll scene was also pretty lacking, I thought that it would have been much better had they stuck to the original version where Gandalf tricks the trolls into arguing until sunrise instead of the way it was. There were also some other little inconsistencies with the book that I didn't like and the scene in the mountain was a bit too choppy and cartoonish.

The big problem with the Hobbit is that they heavily altered the actual story in a way that feels like it's there simply because there weren't enough battle scenes in the original. I personally went in with really high hopes and left disappointed. The addition of the white orc really seemed like it was unnecessary and added to make the movie longer. Also a lot of the little bits that serve as back-story fill-ins for LotR aren't there in the book. The other things I disliked were the casting for the dwarves, most of whom just looked like short people as opposed to really rugged and muscular dwarves. Finally I though that a lot of the CG wasn't nearly as convincing as in LotR, especially the eagles, which looked poorly textured and the orcs, which just weren't as good as the actual actors used in LotR. Just my 2 cents.

After reading through the comments on the Facebook page again someone brought up the idea of Dive Devil at SFMM but I for some stupid reason though of Thrill Shot, which I believe was one of only two ever built, both of which are now defunct. So the point I'm getting to is that we may see an updated version of the same concept, possibly with a facedown spin at around 100 feet, coming to Silverwood. -

One of the developers posted over on NLE that you will be able to import NL1.x track splines into NL2, so you may have to first import from Newton or FVD++ into NL1.x and then import that into NL2 but I'm not sure. -

^ The only thing about a flat is the 40 foot discrepancy between the given height of the inversion and the overall height of the ride, implying a coaster.
