I haven't been on much trains at parks. My favorites are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the train at Canobie Lake Park. But I say Canobie should replace their locomotive with an EMD DDA40X. 8 axles, 2 engines, and 6000 horsepower. Biggest diesel locos ever. Technically, they are historic and would fit in with a steam loco. On second thought, Canobie's steam loco is just fine. I also like Runaway Mind Train at SFGAdv. I also remember riding a train at WDW in 1999. I also liked that, but I can't remember much of it.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. Best graphics I've ever seen on a computer game, EVER!

No, I don't drink alcohol. Have you ever had a Boston Cream Pie before?

Great pics. I hope you had fun. It was boring when I went. The zoo sucks in the autumn and winter. Heck, the zoo sucks year round. The rides weren't open when I went, either. Maybe I just go at bad times. But anyways, great pics, hope you had fun. Just one question. The 6th picture down. What the heck is that animal? I don't recall seeing it when I went.

How did you get your screen name?
AznShortBoi8021 replied to waterviper's topic in Random, Random, Random
Azn was how all the Asian gangstas(not gangsters) spelled Asian. I'm short. I think of myself as still young. 80 was the year I was going in(1980). 21 was my age when I got a job that payed more than 20 bucks. 23.75 an hour to be exact. -
Have you ever been injured on a ride Robb or Elissa?
AznShortBoi8021 replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Ask Alvey
Being a big fan of Vekoma, I've gotten plenty of major headaches and bruises to my head, shoulder, and neck. Those damn OTSR's, but has that even stopped me from being a fan of Vekoma? Hell no! I've also been stung by a bee on S:ROS at SFNE once. -
What is your local park?
AznShortBoi8021 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live in Malden, Massachusetts. That is about 20 minutes or 6 miles north of Boston. My hometown park is Canobie Lake Park. It is a 30-45 minute trip there. -
SLC'S?
AznShortBoi8021 replied to coaster_type_of_person's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I really enjoy SLC's. My first SLC was Mind Eraser at SFDL. It was mostly smooth with a few rough spots. Like Mind Eraser said, if there was only a few SLC's in the world, people would enjoy it more. And look at my avatar... -
Kingda Ka and TTD - I don't know how anyone can find the waits on those rides worth it. Wild Thing @ Wild Waves and Enchanted Villiage - Another painful corker. When I went to Wild Waves and Long Name Park, the line for Wild Thing was longer than the line for Timberhawk. I seriously have no clue how Timberhawk's like was shorter than Wild Thing's line, but at least I got 7 rides on Timberhawk. An underrated and little known woodie.

Dot dot dot. Where are they? Anyways, looks like you guys had a terrific time riding ME(the appriviation makes me feel uncomfortable). When I would ME, it was very rough and painful. Did you get a video of the whole ride? -
Any of you get your hands on an Xbox 360 yet? I'm gonna try my best to hunt them down in January or February.

Coaster Enthusiast Experiment
AznShortBoi8021 replied to zburns999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I do roller coasters from May to September. Then I do trains and railfanning from October to October. I think I can last one year. I can last seven months, so why not twelve months? -
Carnivals
AznShortBoi8021 replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The best carnival I ever went to was the Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, Massachusetts. They had at least 2 of almost every ride. I got free tickets to rides because I know a person that works there. I rode the Zippers four times and Kamikazes 6 times. I used all my free tickets on those rides. Then I bought 70 tickets for 50 bucks and rode After Burner(there was only one) 4 times. Then I went on all four fun houses once. Then I rode random rides once or twice. -
Favourate Flat ride
AznShortBoi8021 replied to coasterboi's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My top five favorite rides: 5. Chaos rides 4. Anything was works like or is a Huss Giant Frisbee 3. No launched freefall ride can beat those made by S&S. Scream! at SFNE was a blast 2. Zipper rides 1. Any swinging ship type of ride that goes upside down. Ring of Fire rides included I rode Ranger at SFDL 18 times last year. I also spent 24 bucks riding the Sky Master at the Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, MA last month. Nothing beats the feeling of being stuck face down for 10 seconds and feel like being stuck unside down for 10 seconds while the ride operators below collect all the money that falls out of your pocket. -
I saw Zathura last night. Only 3 words can describe how awesome it is. JUMANJI IN SPACE. The writer of the book Jumanji thinks he can take advantage of the book by writing another book with very identical plots, except its in space. The movie adaptation wasn't good, but it wasn't bad either. There were some cool action and special effects. It isn't something a parent would want their seven year old kid to be seeing. There's some mild swearing too. But the action and special effects are only good things about the movie. Anymore action and it would be rated PG-13 in the U.S. Overall, if you already saw Jumanji and you're not interested in seeing an action flick, don't bother seeing Zathura. 5/10. Its just Jumanji in space with more action. Anyone else see it?

My all time favoritest supreme super duper childishly announced hobby is railfanning. Roller coasters come a close second.
-
My top 5 5. Working at a candy factory. Maybe I can be the next Willy Wonka 4. Crunch bars. Chocolately, crunchirific goodness 3. Traveling 2. Roller coasters Please don't kill/hurt me for this not making roller coasters number 1. 1. Railfanning. The wonderful art of taking pictures of trains and run-on sentences.

I work at the Necco Candy Factory in Revere, MA. I'm actually the 2nd youngest manager they ever had!

I'm also tired of the media(both liberal and conservative biased) and Bush Administration talking about attacks that are not going to happen. Terrorist announce attacks to scare people(hence TERRORist). Pre 9/11 world was a lot better than the current world. I miss the 2nd and 3rd grade. Best times of my life. I miss Surge. Best soda ever. Why did they have to stop making it? I miss summer already. Damn New England weather. I miss when the word "terrorist" was properly used. -
If you have an interest in public transportation take the subway as often as you can. Avoid the Bronx if you're afraid you gonna get mugged. And visit Rockafeller Plaza(or what ever the heck the place is called) at around 7:00. You might get to be on national television giving shout outs to all your friends and family with Al Roker holding a microphone agaisnt your face. Yes, I was talking about the Today Show. And try to buy one of those $40 burgers if you find out where they sell them.
