  1. I cannot believe the red carpet that has been rolled out for us tonight here at sfmm. The unexpected night time ert was a big surprise and x2 does not disappoint! I will have some photos and a trip report soon! A huge thank you to Six Flags Magic Mountain and all of the employees that stayed late for all of us! Again a huge thank you! John
  2. Hey everyone greetings from the camp out!! We just set up camp. Its actually really nice outside for the moment. I will have a photo tr as soon as I get back to Vegas! John
  3. I didn't ask we got here this morning around eleven and just left our things in the car. At the end of the night we are going to go back to the car and move it and get our belongings. I will ask and if I get an answer I will post it here. Today has been a great day! I have had the best ride on viper I have ever had. And we are currently in line for dejavu. John.
  4. Thanks for the information I'm actually in the park on my blackberry as we speak. Hope to see you all tonight!
  5. See everyone at the Camp Out! I'm packed and ready to head out the door! John
  6. Thanks for posting Robb the ride looks great!! I head out to California tomorrow morning!! I'm still really pumped and excited about X2! John
  7. I'm really excited about tomorrow!! I leave Vegas at 6:30am tomorrow to get there for the park's opening. I figured why not spend the whole day there on Friday!? See you all at the camp out!! John
  8. Tower of Terror in Florida, at the scene before the ride drops in the fifth dimension, The stars are outlined in a Mickey right before the doors open. John
  9. $3.67 in Las Vegas for Chevron Stations. The lowest in Vegas was $3.55 John
  10. Yes sorry my mistake, Las Vegas Monorail opened in 2004 three years after the Tokyo Disney Monorail which opened in 2001. John
  11. Did you know that the Manhattan Express in Las Vegas has trains that are themed to Taxi Cabs, but the station is themed to a Subway Station? Did you know that the Las Vegas Monorail is the first driverless monorail system in the Nation? And is also the nation's first metropolitan transit system funded entirely through fare box collections and advertising revenue? John (Fixed! Sorry about the wrong fact)
  12. Thanks for posting everything this TR is very interesting and a great read, its awesome to see parks that aren't always talked about. Just a question and this is aside from amusement parks, while you were in Kuala Lumpur did you ever go up in the Petronas Towers? John
  13. From TMZ.Com Mariah and Nick on the Roller Coaster of Love Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey had a shotgun wedding in the Bahamas, so now they're celebrating here ... at a theme park. Six months ago she was sipping Cristal on a yacht in St. Barth's -- now she's eating corn dogs in Valencia, CA. We've confirmed Nick rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain for the night -- and word is it's for a wedding reception. The park shut down to the public at 6:00 PM -- and that's when Nick and Mariah took over. Mariah pulled up in a black Rolls Royce shortly after 8:00 PM. We're told the party will go on at least until midnight. Rumors are also swirling about an A-list guest list that includes Will Smith and Stevie Wonder -- so far no sign of 'em. John
  14. I just got my season pass in the mail today too. So my friend and I decided to make more of a trip of this and spend all day Friday at the park, and spend all night there as well for the camp out. I'm really looking forward to this trip! John
  15. MGM Grand Adventures in Las Vegas is now the MGM Grand Conference Center, Pool, and Signature Condo Towers. A small part of the facade of the old Haunted Mine and food shacks are still left. I will hopefully stop by the pool and Signature towers to snap a few shots of what is left. Wet 'N Wild that was next to the Sahara is now a construction site for a new casino. John
  16. ^Thanks Robb!! I agree as well. Also to add, when you think that only 200 spots have been reserved, compared that to how many will be at X2 when the park opens at 10 this is a great deal!! And for the park to be doing this in the first place is a really great thing! No matter what I still appreciate the chance to be a part of this. John
  17. Lol yeah, I meant if more of us from TPR will be attending. John
  18. So I was wondering. Who else is going? On page 1 I only count 6 people on the roll call list. John "Hopes to see more of us out there" Pavlock
  19. I've only been on three different Chaos rides. My first was at the MGM Grand at the old MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park. I really like this ride. The others I've been on were at the Adventuredome and at Belmont Park in San Diego. Each of the rides was different in their own right. I find that the portable models seem to be a bit slower than the permanent ride model. Has anyone else noticed this?? Or it could just be me lol. John
  20. Thanks for posting this!! I think its really classy having the managers slide down in their suits! John
  21. Woo Hoo!!! I just got my ticket for the X2 camp out in the mail today!! Man they really got this out fast. It got here in 2 days! On the receipt I noticed that the person that talked to me on the phone was Ceylina, but yeah the greatest gratitude to her she was very nice to talk to on the phone! John
  22. ^ Yeah the Tatsu Camp Out will be something that I will never forget, it was such a great time! But I am still looking forward to the X2 camp out, I was willing to put up 50 bucks for it, and I think its great that the park is even doing something like this. Even though I had to pay for it, I'm thankful for the chance just to be a part of it!. On another note, has anyone renewed their Play Pass online? Do they actually send you your pass in the mail and you don't have to go to processing at the park? John
  23. I just signed up and everything is a go! I was just really impressed with who I talked to on the phone, she was really nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. But anyways Kudos to them! It's nice to hear some enthusiasm from their employees! John
  24. We'll be there! LOL I know my friend and I would be willing to pitch in an extra 10 bucks. John
  25. Myself and my friend are 100% committed on going to the event!! It falls right after my birthday so its a great 21st birthday trip!! The Tatsu camp out was great, something I will never forget. Hope to see you all there!! John
