  2. Hey everyone. This is really old news but Id like to repost the pictures from High Roller's last day of operation, and the beginning of dismantling of the ride. All pictures were taken from public areas in the tower. No rules were broken to take these pictures. High Rollers Final Day of Operation: December 30th 2005. Some of the last riders of the High Roller. This was around 2:15AM December 31, 2005 Right before the High Roller cycled for the last time.
  3. Thanks for the correction. I'm glad that I have all four songs now. I really do hope they still play when X2 opens. Did Déjà Vu ever have music in it's station?
  4. No Problem! I will have to make a trip up there to relive some old memories!
  5. Is that flume Over the Edge from MGM Grand Adventures as well??
  6. I'm so happy the Lightning Bolt is going to live once again. I still miss that park a lot!! Thanks for Posting! John
  7. ^ Thanks I've been looking for it forever!! Do you know what it is called?? Speaking of the music does anyone know if they are changing the music that is played in the station?? I know the others are from the Crystal Method Vapor Trail Confusion / Blood Rave She's my Pusher John
  8. What boats?? They still use the Columbia and the Mark Twain in the show.
  9. This is the finale from last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNKlyzU-p-Q
  10. Fantasmic! Reopened over the weekend with some technical changes. There were some changes to the lighting and finale with a reduction in fireworks. People say it ruins the ending but I think its better. Heres a video I found on YouTube that has both the beginning and the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLji5SjbXQk I find that the lighting made the scenes easier to see in the show, however I haven't been out there myself yet to see the revamped show. But from what I see, I think the fireworks now seem to synced a lot better than before. Here's another angle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJR55EQsm_M John
  11. Kamikaze has always been a favorite of mine at the Fairs.
  12. LOL! But did it do anything for capacity? Did anyone ride it while both drops were open?
  13. Actually I apologize lol. I guess I was never really that observant with the trains. I only noticed the support on the top of the seats. I only noticed it on the prototype train in the video. They seemed to be well disguised here! But now I see it! John
  14. I can't wait to head to Hershey my family and I are heading out there late this May. I'm really looking forward to Fahrenheit!
  15. Awesome pictures! Thanks for posting. I miss World of Coke here in Vegas. All that is left is a gift shop. John
  16. Thanks for posting! Did you guys notice how different the "Pickle Forks" are on the prototype than what they were on the 1st gen X Trains? The prototype had support on the bottom of the seats as well. Do you think weight was probably an issue there as well? John
  17. Thanks for the pics Robb!! It's nice to see the mountain getting some TLC! One question, how did Jet Stream work when they had both of the chutes open, what was the reasoning behind that?? John
  18. I personally as well have never used a locker at an amusement park. I always wear cargo pants or shorts that have zipper pockets to store my wallet, keys, phone, and my camera. I've never had a problem. I also bring zip-lock bags to put my things in when I go on water rides. I always just plan ahead. I know I'm going to be going on rides so I'm always prepared. I'd rather save my money for food and souvenirs lol. John
  19. I believe its actually a chain lift dog, what the train actually uses to attach to the lift chain. Please correct me if I'm wrong. John
  20. Doesn't Thunder Dolphin at LaQua have some trick track too??
  21. Wow thanks!! Its crazy to see that. They sure have come a long way. Here is one of the Sky Tower under construction, but it also shows the park around it under construction as well. So here is one photo for your two questions. http://www.thrillnetwork.com
  22. Thanks for the video Jahan, I'm really looking forward to seeing this up there. I tried to do something like this at the Stratosphere Tower before I left there, but it never left the ground. Its hard to find construction pictures of the tower. I was thinking does anyone have pictures of MM while the park itself was under construction?? John
