One thing I noticed over the weekend, a storage container is now at the location where the track is being stored before installation, so possibly a couple of the cars may have arrived! -
Best B&M sitting coaster?

I will also have to go with Kumba! Great layout, great pacing, and it has really held up well over the years. -

It's only 90 degrees, it doesn't go beyond vertical. It's actually quite hard at the moment to get a side shot of the drop. I'll take a walk around to see if there's a better angle. -

It looks like every ship has them until permanent generators are installed. "Carnival said the first phase of improvements involves installing an additional emergency generator on every ship to ensure operation of safety equipment and services like plumbing, fresh water and elevators in a power loss. The extra temporary generators will eventually be replaced by permanent generators." bigstory.ap.org/article/carnival-plans-300-million-ship-improvements

I definitely have to choose Walt Disney World as it is basically a city in of itself. It is a wonderful all inclusive resort with endless options and experiences to be had. I feel that even a week is not enough time to experience all the resort has to offer. My most recent trip is the first time I spent a whole day at EPCOT and I would be happy to do that again!

The park will be closed after fright dome during the first full week of November for four days. I am interested how much construction can be done in that short amount of time. The park will also be closed for 4 days during the second week of December. I find it amazing how much they do in the after hours when the park closes at 6:00PM and reopens at 11:00AM during the mid week. Can't wait to ride! -
As of late I will be siding with Cedar Fair, it's amazing how much detail they are paying attention at Knott's for the small details. Operationally it is amazing that Cedar Point can push millions of riders through their rides and they aren't open the entire year or even weekends only like some of the Six Flags Parks. It's amazing that a coaster like Millennium Force can be running 3 trains without stacking and still have a 2 hour wait. I also feel that Cedar Fair has prettier parks, with that said my favorite Six Flags park is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, I feel like it's a well rounded park.

Hey everyone! Here's a quick update from today! More supports have been brought into the dome and the twist and dive into the break run has started to be installed. It is quite impressive how close the supports of El Loco come to the existing infrastructure inside the park. It is interesting to see just how much the ride is starting to dominate the southwest corner of the park. From the looks of it as well, El Loco will be a very photogenic ride! The ride is really starting to dominate this part of the park. Looking into the station. More supports have been moved inside. Looking how close the ride is to Canyon Blaster. Looking up into the inline twist. This coaster will have great photo ops! Above the old Rim Runner (Now El Loco) Station. The Twist and Dive into the final brake run. The beginning of the inline twist above the old Rim Runner Station (Now El Loco Station) Looking at the final brake run. This track piece will be installed once the footers below are completed. Look at how close the support structure gets to the air handlers. Final brake run looking into the station. The Final Brake Run. I love how this ride interacts with Canyon Blaster The inline twist. -

In two hours we have hit 4 of the 6 mazes. I'll get Hotel Argento on my next visit. The scare zones in the park are awesome with very dense fog. If you don't want to wait in long lines, the upgrade to the fast pass is the way to go. Canyon Blaster is nicknamed Limb Blaster during Fright Dome and the ride couldn't be running better! A total blast in the dark! -

Hi everyone! Well here we go! El Loco is now vertical! Right now supports and the first track pieces are in place just outside of the former Rim Runner (soon to be El Loco) station. Will be sure to update everyone on the progress in the next few upcoming weeks! Everyone else should be happy to know that the rock work is being patched up where the former Rim Runner drop used to be. Enjoy the photos!
