  1. Nice additions to Silverwood. I like how descriptive Silverwood was with the rides by including the costs, manufacture date, transportation, etc.
  2. It's not every day that you see a small park adding 4 new rides. It's good to see some new life in Myrtle Beach.
  3. This model looks extremely realistic and the amount of detail looks amazing. It looks like a wooden coaster that was shrunk.
  4. I'm impressed by how much SFMM did for Full Throttle ever since I was there back on the 6th. Hopefully, we'll see vertical construction in February.
  5. I was at Knott's yesterday and here is some of the construction that is happening around the park: -Knott's filled in half of Coast Rider's footers. I wouldn't be surprised if track & supports arrive at Knott's in a few days. -A good portion of Schoolhouse Road is closed as the asphalt has been removed and being replaced by nice new concrete. -The remote control cars underneath Boomerang have been removed. -Windseeker is still closed for those who are wondering. Sorry, there was no photos. I'll try to bring my camera when I'm going to Knott's next Saturday.
  6. Well, I went to Knott's yesterday and Windseeker wasn't running or testing. There was just test dummies near the ride. No big news.
  7. I really wonder who the manufacturer of the new Cyclone will be. SBF Visa is the only manufacturer I can think of that still builds Round Ups.
  8. Of my 3 home parks: Legoland California, Knott's Berry Farm, & Six Flags Magic Mountain, SFMM has the worst food, worst management, worst operations, and the worst crowd. Six Flags is hated on just because they have low quality and they love to cut corners at the expense of guest satisfaction. Even when SFDK & CGA were my home parks, SFDK had worse operations and a worse crowd than CGA.
  9. From XYZ's Epic Adventures.
  10. What's wrong with Vortex (Haven't ridden it myself, but I'm curious as to how you'll answer your own question)? I know Vortex is pretty 'snappy' if you want to say. Combine quick direction changes with high, firm shoulder restraints that are pretty close to the head, there's lots of ear smashing and headbanging to be had. The main part that I brace myself for is that quick snap and entry into corkscrew. It's too bad that Vortex has all this headbanging as it has a very good layout. That loop definitely pulls some forces and it occasionally has enjoyable rides. When CGA was my home park, I always had to stick my head real far forward to prevent head/ear banging.
  11. I'm going to Knott's tomorrow. I'll post what the status of the ride is.
  12. As I said before, whenever I look at some of these pictures, my brain is telling me they are fake.
  13. I really enjoy your Photo Trip Reports and this one is definitely at your quality. Keep up the great Photo Trip Reports!
  14. It's really nice, though it's only a 10 second ride after the lift hill. It might work if it is just 1 train with 2 cars. This way, you can make the coaster have 2 circuits. Other than the short length, it looks great.
  15. Even with a worse camera and less time, the quality of your photos is still there. Yes, it isn't as creative as your Knott's photos (and you did explain why it wouldn't be), though the photos are still top notch.
  16. Amazing photos! Knott's is one of my home parks and I really enjoy the photos you took of it. I like some of your clever shots especially of the photos of Silver Bullet's zero-G roll. I'm interested to see how clever your pictures will be of SFMM since it is harder to photograph SFMM's coasters than Knott's coasters. Also, how did you make the pictures taken from Sky Cabin so clear?
  17. If there is Surfside Gliders ERT with snapping, you'll see me there for most of the ERT.
  18. I'm going to try to do both days of WCB 2013 and this will be my 1st TPR event ever! So, I'm looking forward to see how amazing a TPR event is.
  19. It's not an on ride photo, but when I was taking photos of Technic Coaster (Legoland California), I came across this funny photo:
  20. It seems like you went on a good day as a week ago, the employees at SFMM were extremely bored and always frowned. It's like being around a bunch of lifeless people. Though, SFMM employees usually are good at just doing their job.
