  1. Jester (SFNO) is a complete circuit coaster that has a backwards train.
  2. Lex Luthor has such a long duration of the drop (obviously). I have very little fear on drop towers nowadays, but the GP pee in their pants on Lex Luthor.
  3. It's great to see Superman & Goldrusher open for a short period during Full Throttle construction. I was thinking that neither ride would re-open until Full Throttle opens.
  4. Here is a video I made a few weeks ago:
  5. I always thought that Giant Dipper's sign was faded and it's great to see SCBB re-painting it.
  6. I am a bit of a fan of Colossus, though Iron Horse Colossus would be amazing. I would love to see SFMM with an airtime machine and this would be perfect. It will be interesting to see what the new layout will look like. If this does actually happen in 2014, I'll definitely re-new my pass for 2014.
  7. My favorite TPR RCT2 park has returned! Thanks for posting the update on TPR.
  8. I believe the only Cirque show I saw was Cirque Dreams Illuminations at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. (That might've been the name for it, I kind of forgot since I saw it many years ago)
  9. So, it looks like a new 4D movie will be Legoland's 2013 new attraction. I'm not that big of a fan of the existing 4D films at LLC, so I hope this will change my opinion on them. Also, the Bob the Builder 4D film left a few months ago, so perhaps this is to replace Bob the Builder.
  10. The long line ends with a check point where an employee directs you into another line for either processing room 1 or 2. Both processing rooms have the same wait of about 10 minutes.
  11. Whoa, that track looks so sleek and smooth!
  12. Outlaw Run (Silver Dollar City) is another coaster filled with many unique elements: The 1st photo is from Roller Coaster Database, the 2nd photo is from Coaster Radio, and the 3rd photo is from News Plus Notes. Yea, the double barrel roll isn't unique as an element, but it's unique for a wooden coaster.
  13. So why weren't they smart enough to have someone outside directing people to the center inside the park? That just seems so dumb to have one center with a huge line, and another with none at all? It's as simple as a phone call from one center to the other "How busy are you guys? Not at all? Sending people your way!" I was getting my pass processed a few days ago and I waited an hour in line outside and I was directed to the processing center inside the park. You cannot get in line for the processing center inside if you didn't wait in the long line outside. That long line outside is the line for both processing centers. So, SFMM did do a good job using both processing centers.
  14. Basically most of the Storm Runner's elements are unique. The odd-shaped immelmann: The flying snake dive: The odd turns into the brake run:
  15. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has two coasters with very strange layouts: Vertical Velocity: It's the only Intamin Twisted Impulse that has no vertical front tower but instead has a zero-g/barrel roll and a 25 degree-ish incline. It's pretty much the only unique impulse. Superman Ultimate Flight: Another SFDK coaster with a very strange layout (inspired by Maurer Sohne ).
  16. I hope this answers your question. I found the photo at thecoasterguy.com
  17. SFMM on Jan. 6th since I need to re-new my SFMM pass before the 1/6 deadline for the "buy 4 thrill passes and get gold pass benefits" offer.
  18. KD could be getting a pretty good sized coaster in 2014 or 2015 like a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter or a GCI woodie. KD probably wouldn't get CF's headline attraction of the year, but they might get CF's 2nd largest investment.
  19. I saw the ? mark lights working back in August in Riddler's station.
  20. Even if Windseeker isn't an intense ride, it is marketed as an intense non-family ride that wouldn't do well at a family park: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZALCgXCW_Bc
  21. My first coaster in 2013 is GhostRider (Knott's Berry Farm). I rode it at around 10:30 on January 1st.
  22. I've never seen CGA from the air. Though I would imagine if you would go on a plane that is landing south on San Jose Airport or taking off to the north, then you should be able to see CGA easily.
