Gold Striker (CGA). It was tons of fun.

I got back from CGA for the first time in almost two years. Here are some of my observations: -Gold Striker lives up to the hype! It's an amazing wooden coaster and is now my favorite wooden coaster in California. I guess the wait really did pay off. -Grizzly's new queue is unacceptable. The ramps have been a great queue line and now it is barely used as a Fast Lane queue. I'd rather have them put the Fast Lane queue where the new queue is and have the normal line go back to where it originally was. -Grizzly's new lap bar seat belt seems very unnecessary as Giant Dipper also has Morgan trains and just has a lap bar. (Grizzly has a lap bar, seat belt, and lap bar seat belt). -The new Happy Feet 3D film in the Action Theater is good, though it lacks in quality. It would be better if it was a 2D film. Though, it still is better than SpongeBob. -Flight Deck is great, as usual. -The 49ers Stadium is looking great. -Pizza Orleans' parmesan is still powdery. -It was great to meet the TPR group that goes to CGA often.

Why not go to Great Adventure instead of all these tiny parks that would take a ton of time to drive to? Western Long Island can have terrible traffic. It took me 2 1/2 hours to drive from Manhattan to JFK Airport. I have never been to Eastern Long Island, so I can't talk about the traffic there.

I agree. On the Calico Mine Ride, you face other people and when they are texting, they are ruining the whole mine experience with their bright screen.

Isn't the Prudential Building located on former Great America land?

By 2015, Prudential will probably force CGA to be all underneath a glass dome.

This looks really good. Though, I'd change the color of the black wood on Cherokee as it looks strange.

I honesty can't agree with back seat on Colossus. I found the airtime to be brutally sudden and violent - quite painful as you are thrown up into the lap-bar. I'd recommend nearer the front. Having said that, I do definitely agree with the back seat on Apocalypse. That is fantastic The brutal and violent airtime moment on Colossus, back seat, is really the only somewhat powerful airtime in SFMM. I find it to be fun.

Honestly, my favorite rows on Riddler and Batman are not the front. I tend to enjoy the middle seats the most, especially on Riddler where there is some good hangtime on the dive loops and less headbanging. The line is typically very long for the front on Riddler and Batman, so I'd not recommend it unless it is a short wait.
