yeah so I have concluded that cedar fair is definitely buggin'. what is this! another behemoth (argue all you want they are the same ride) (when I first saw the video I thought they were upgrading behemoth like a bizarro type thing and just making it bigger (a great idea)) in the same park! I think it would be much better to give this to a park without a ride like this or at least one without a B&M hyper like knott's or something. It's like have two B&M inverts with one being bigger than the other. What's the point! -

sorry SFMM, but this takes $h*ts all over your prized tatsu. I wish they had flyers like this in the U.S. -

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
eltoro96 replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
lol I used to think that. I thought that they didn't make any wooden coasters after the 70s. I saw a show that profiled Thunderhead and I thought it was crazy old. -
Riders per Hour
eltoro96 replied to CorkscrewFoley's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Crew makes a difference too. I've been on Nitro where they can get a train loaded and out in under a minute and later that day when they change the crew it could be longer. Also, there could be different circumstances per train. On Apocalypse (it was Terminator back then) when the ride ops were having a contest to see who could push down the lap bars the fastest (becoming more and common and rides which I like. Adds excitement lol) and one kept popping up so they had to lift all them and put them all back down again. That happens on inverts a lot too. Like if a it goes down a notch too far and is uncomfortable they have to raise all bars on some, but just the car on others... Also, when there's a single rider line it makes people like me ecstatic. When you spend two full days at Cedar Point waiting on every line alone and watching EVERY SINGLE MF train with a half dozen sporadic empty seats, the single rider line halfway through Maverick is the best part of your visit. Actually, once when I was on Maverick there was no guy there so I nonchalantly line jumped that whole staircase area -
Great TR. I'm surprised I haven't gotten around to this park. Looks pretty run down though. I'm very surprised about that. I didn't know it was on a beach though! Is it true that Coney Island Luna Park is getting the Volare from Elitch Gardens? (of course they're staying with the Zamperla theme ) If they do I'll ride it strictly because I've never been one. Wouldn't suffer that much if I've ridden one!

I know that it's not a direct competitor but it's the same concept in the end, unless it appears in the U.S. -

And it will definitely be way smoother and more maintenance friendly than X. Even if it's just a little better it will be considered a total success over it. -

This looks mad nice and fun! Hope it comes to the US sometime soon. Hopefully it's another B&M concept that becomes a masterpiece all over. -

Wow this looks like a pretty good Eurofighter but did anyone else think that it's not smart for the most poorly operated park with crazy long lines to get ride like this with the crazy capacity. Anyway, looks like a good addition nonetheless -

This is a very sad story. They do have a chance to recover. A small park right near me had 2 deaths and a near death within 3 weeks. It was also a park totally catered towards kids. On the Zierer ladybug an employee got struck during a test after hours. The next week a disabled woman fell from the highest point on the Huss top scan. A few days after that a young girls scarf got stuck in the center on a Zamperla balloon spinning thing. It took awhile for the GP to regain their trust in safety since it was the children riding, but they recovered which in the end is all that matters.

I loved Riddler, thought Mantis was OK/mediocre and can't wait for Green Lantern this Spring! I'm expecting it to top my list.

^I really don't agree with Kumba. It's fun and unique but I found it be like Bizarro/Medusa with a floor. I know they're totally different except for inversions but I didn't find it omfg amazing, I was just like yay history. I LOVE Montu. Easily my favorite B&M. I like S:UF only for the pretzel loop in the back seat. I liked that part of the ride much better than Tatsu's. Raptor is great during Halloweekends. Fog in your face the whole second half. B:TR at night with your restraint one notch too loose (still safe! don't worry!) is amazing especially in the area by the wingovers. -
I totally agree. Why would Cedar Fair put such a crappy ride (it looks ugly (the station!) and rough) at their flagship park. So many people have said how Cedar Fair only cares about CP. I somewhat agree but anyway they would never put a ride like this there. never. Also, if they want to get the most coasters, they might as well put a good one in and win it by having the latest and greatest (a new woodie! please!!! ) not a used, broken one.

I have a pretty interesting story... There's a very small park about a half an hour from my house (Adventureland in Farmingdale NY (It's in the park index with barely any pics)) and I would always go there with my family when I was about 3 or 4. They had a kiddie coaster that I hated the first time I went on. They had two other coasters. One was a clone of Hurricane at SCBB and the other was a Zierer ladybug. I was really intrigued by them and went on them as soon as I was tall enough. That was really the only park I went to regularly and I never really researched coasters. I went to IOA and BGT when I was about 11 and loved all the rides but they never really stuck with me when I got home. Last year however, I found out I was going to SFGAdv over Spring Break. It would be my first SF and from there on I became OBSESSED! I went to SFMM over the summer and CP in the fall and hope to go to SFNE this year.
