^^^^^ I see what you mean. But this mostly goes for just SFDK. I find that park to really be more a playground/carnival than a theme park. It dosen't do me much good. CGA on the other hand is a nice park in a nice location and just feels more like a complete park. Sure, the coaster collection may be lacking (although it's better than most people say it is) but the overall park is nice. It actually has a charm that I really enjoy and the crowds just seem a lot nicer as well as the overall atmosphere. At CGA, the employees are always nice, friendly, and often. This really adds to the park expireance in my opinion. Just my two cents.

^Good God. It's only 11:00 too. One to two hours on Medusa? No thanks. Honestly, your best bet is buying them online on the park's website. You save a good $20.00 or so. All the other offers are pretty much the same.

I couldn't agree more. As much as I love SFMM, CP just seems to have everything down pat. My first trip there last year was just amazing. So unless we're talking the recent opening day failure, CP is the clear winner.

That lump of grass is turning out great! Thank you so much for that picture. That grass mound is a great and well-needed addition for the park without a doubt.

I hate it when schools visit parks. They always think "OMG!! I'm so cool I'm totally going to vandelize this park and do a whole bunch of funny crap in it because I'm so funny and hilarious." Really, all the ever do is make the parks atmosphere more ghetto. Kids that would never ever othersiwse go into a theme park (for the most part) attend these trips. Particularly MS kids. God, I hate it.

And if it dosen't happen by the end of Kinzel's term as CEO (which it most likely won't) then it won't get sold. That's just Kinzel wanting to get rid of another park that they never wanted to take care of. He will be out here soon enough, so don't try to act as if it's a sure thing.

I hope to be going since I am a season pass holder. I'm bummed that Roar and V2 won't be open though.

I went to the park yesterday (Saturday). I went to Flight Deck first, the operations were good as the line moved rather quickly for CGA. As I got up to the station, I saw about 10-15 employees hanging around the control booth doing nothing other than talking to each other. Only about 4 or 5 employees were actually operating it. While I still think the operations were alright, I was certainly not impressed as they could've been a lot faster if they had actually used more of the employees. Demon had a long line that started right under the lift hill and went though all the switchbacks. Drop Tower was running all the cabins although they weren't loading one of them on the east side of the tower. Also, my friends told me they were threatened to be romoved from the park because a coin fell out of one of their pockets. Grizzly operations were horrid, the first row in the last car of the blue train wasn't being loaded. They was also some shoving and fighting going on in Grizzly's clusterphobic line. It wasn't hardcore fighting, but it was enough to have me considering why I was in line. Theme parks really need better security in their lines. While I did have fun, I was rather disappointed by a few things at the park that I saw. I might off had an "off" day but considering it was a Saturday in May, I don't think I would call that "acceptable".

^They probably filmed Top Gun (A B&M Invert) at PGA and just have that ride be in all of the other Top Gun commercials (for other parks).

^Really? Well, at least Shapiro knew of a concept of actually caring for his parks. Try, just try telling me Six Flags parks looked better before Shapiro came in. ^^This. And what makes everone think that Shapiro would bring everything he did at Six Flags over to Cedar Fair? He's obviously smart enough to realize that would make competition less fierce. Flash passes at Cedar Point? Really? He's not that dumb. Some CEO's are actually good at making decent decisions for their company. Just my two cents.

Here's how I think of it: TTD>S:EFK>Kingda Ka Top Thrill Dragster still reins supreme, but I think Superman: Escape From Kryton is a Major Improvement. I almost like it more than Goliath. Almost.

Right now, the other two trains are going through an extensive rehab as that is what is required of this B&M at the moment (scheduled rehab). If they could run more trains, they would. It's not like they're running one train on one of their most popular rides for the lols. They have no choice but to operate one train as efficiently as they possibly can.
