No idea if it was the threat of storms, the heat, both, and being a weekday, but got there at 3pm today and the longest line we waited in was Justice League, 10 minute line, it broke down, we waited like 30 minutes, left, came back and got on in like 2 minutes. Everything else was walk on ALL day. We just lolligaged around and didn't rush, so we didn't do too many rerides, but we got on everything we wanted to Joker: 1 El Toro: 1 Nitro: 2 Justice League: 1 Kingda Ka: 2 Zumanjaro: 2 Batman: 3 The Dark Knight: 1 The last Nitro ride was at night, with a storm in the distance lighting up the sky, it was so dope.

Most corporate parks dump you straight into gift shops after their major rides. If you don't think that little sign is a good look then you should probably never set foot on Universal, Disney, Cedar Fair, Busch, Sea World or HFE property. Six Flags is honestly LESS in your face about this than basically any other chain. There's a difference between having a ride exit going through a gift shop with tons of merch. Montu, Cobra's Curse and even SUF at GAdv do it, but it doesn't feel as tacky or as desperate as blocking off an open path to herd people under an awning to see a photo.

They need to reopen all the blocked off paths, I don't even get why they're closed except for money grabbing opportunities. I'm surprised the El Toro bridge to Bizarro is still open and they don't force you to walk all the way around. I mean, they put a SIGN in front of the path by El Toro's photo booth so that it heards groups of people to see their photos. I mean you can squeeze through openings, but it comes across as desperate and desperation is not a good look. Reopen the GK shortcut, reopen the path from Sky Screamer to Justice League.

Got there at around 3:15 today, and it was an amazing day. Lots of schools but no lines for anything at all. The longest we waited was for the Joker, 5 whole minutes. Highlights: 1. A storm rolling through, realizing in the middle of it, that I don't have my wallet, running to guest services to ask about the lockers I left it in, security came over and told me "You know you can open the lockers as many times as you want within your time limit right?" Didn't know that, felt dumb 2. Walking to the locker to retrieve my wallet, passing a goose that was full on ATTACKING a seagull. I hear flapping and a seagull squawking in pain, look down and see a seagull being thrown around by a goose, it's rear end fully in the gooses mouth flapping to break free, it eventually broke free and flew away and the goose and it's goslings got their bread. Joker: 1 Nitro: 2 (one was like an AMAZING sunset ride with all the mist and fog from the rainstorm evaporating off the trees creating a golden lit fog over the horizon, it felt like I was in another world.) Skully: 1 Batman: 1 (The ride was H A U L I N G today, like crazy forceful) El Toro: 5 (someone had a pack of gum on the ride, it flew off, I caught it, but then wasn't sure what it was and let it go until I looked down and saw 2 sticks of trident sitting on my knee and then blinked and they were gone) Bizarro: 1 Runaway Mine Train: 1 El Diablo: 1 Skyway: 1

Batman & Robin: The Chiller was definitely the loudest coaster I've ever heard, you could hear when it was cycling throughout the park, and standing by it or in the exit tunnel under the launch was deafening. I remember running down the exit path a few times to try and beat the next cycle so I wouldn't go deaf

Had a little fun in Photoshop with The Great Zo's photo to simulate what we may be looking at -

The second inversion is a stall, similar to that of Wicked Cyclone's but more banking and a drop out of it. This clearly explains it: Not new, it's been around since at least the 2015 season. Maybe it was a teaser back in 2015 that we never paid attention to. I'm sure the park new about RMC Mean Streak back in 2015. Mean Streak is getting the Iron Horse Treatment. Maybe I'm completely wrong and I'm overthinking things. This wouldn't happen as nice as it may seem simply due to Maverick being horse related and directly next door. But I do believe that iron horse was used intentionally as a teaser for what's being done currently. That's what I thought but wasn't 100% -

So is the second inversion a stall or a roll? I can't tell from the angles I heard it was like a full inverting stengel dive that rotates left, inverts and rotates the opposite way (the way it exits) -
Paramore - After Laughter (full album has been on repeat, so f-ing good)

Weird Coaster Facts

SFGAdv has this, but it's done a little different, instead of having a piston push down a track to rotate the seats, when the cars come into the station, a guide wheel on the inside of the seats goes into a track, the track dips down slightly which rotates the seats forward for easier access. -
I can see this as PR hit too. No one, especially if they're alone, is going to want to stand in line without their phone, and we all know of these families with attitudes that will have no issue raising hell because they're told to get out of line because they have their phone in line with them. I can see it becoming a big issue.
-
That rule doesn't make any sense. I need my phone with me because sometimes I split up from my group and need to keep them updated at how long I'm going to be, where I'm at in line and more. I also can't imagine the rule lasting very long with all the complaints they'll be getting from the GP once the summer season starts to roll around.

So it dives down while staying banked left in a new photo I saw. Wow
