Yep, SV is back open. I saw a video of it from Instagram flying through the Zero G with people on it. I guess you can say it's back with a Steel......vengeance!!

People have the right to expect that a train full of people will not plow into a train full of people every day of the year, not just July 4. That’s why I said “No one expected this to happen” referring to SV, but I see people complaining that no other coasters are open, no food places are open, rides aren’t ready and more, which is what the whole post was referring to. Not Steel Vengeance’s incident.

Twitter users are enraged today, obviously no one expected this to happen. It is opening weekend so hiccups and low staffing is to be expected. Not sure why people expected the operations of July 4th or anything.

Was there really damage to the trains and track?

That’s crazy and crappy luck. Hopefully no one was hurt and they can get the ride back up and running ASAP

Hyperion looks amazing and this might be a little odd but I love, love, love the way those "checkmark" shaped supports look on the lift.

To further add on that, I've never used a Fast Lane, Quick Queue, Flash Pass or anything ever in my life before, but when I do wind up going to Cedar Point, I will be doing it every day I plan on visiting the park. I know the park is HUGE and I want to maximize time and be able to reride things multiple times.

I'm probably gonna call the 90 different cab services I see around Sandusky and ask them about fares and stuff from the airport/hotel and from the hotel/cedar point, hopefully I can get solid answers where I can finally just book it

^I would definitely try for the ubers first, but honestly, I'm from NYC so none of that stuff bothers me because it's normal here too. Honestly you could handcuff me and throw me in a trunk if it means I get from the hotel to Cedar Point and back. Same for hotels, as long as it's not super disgusting I couldn't care less because I'm hardly going to be in it

Is there reliable taxi/uber in Sandusky? I don't drive and I'm not opposed to paying the fares from CLE airport to Sandusky, but I'd also need a ride from the hotel to the park, I mean I could swim, but that's far

She has the pure look of euphoria on her face which can only be achieved by riding Steel Vengeance or ascending to heaven, but I think SV might be better than heaven

God, this ride looks other worldly. I've never wanted to to just impulse buy a trip to Cedar Point more than I do right now

The timeline of how this ride has influenced me the past "year" is crazy. I started out caring about it, but writing it off as something I'll ride when I get to ride it. Once testing started I got more hype and was planning on coming in like 2019/2020, but now seeing the POV, I literally am trying to figure out a way to get there ASAP this summer just for this beast ALONE. I've never had that happen with any ride before. I've never even been to Cedar Point in general so it's almost like getting to kill 2 birds with one stone if I can figure out a way to make it happen. I'd gladly spend AT LEAST 2 days at the park, ideally 3. Hopefully I can make it work.

Last Summer I strictly went on Wednesday’s because that’s my set day off from work and I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride, and that ride was Justice League, everything else was 1-2 train waits. Hopefully it keeps that consistency this summer for you and me as well.

The dueling RMC can make up for the loss of the Dueling B&M

BGT is my favorite park I've ever been to. I've been wanting to go since I was 8 and finally got to go in 2016. I've heard about all the rumors, but I'm still trying to keep my hype down because I don't want to be disappointed, but if BGT is really getting an RMC, I'll definitely be down in 2019 to revisit my favorite park.

This might be a stupid question and I apologize if it is, but with Fast Lane Plus, do i get to choose my seat on the coasters?
