My favorite was the "All Nite Die-In"--I'm a sucker for horror-movie walkthroughs. Second and third would be "Psychoscareapy" and "Psychopath: Return of Norman Bates." My least favorite was "People Under the Stairs," but I didn't think any of the mazes were bad.

Hmm--just noticed this. Happy Belated Birthday, fellow UK tripper.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW BGE) Discussion Thread
cfc replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Newport News Daily Press has launched a regular update site for Griffon at http://www.dailypress.com/griffon. Today's article mentions that the ride is due to open on Memorial Day and features an interview with the BGE's VP of design and engineering. -
Photo TR: Off season fun in Florida
cfc replied to CoasterFanatic's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good to see somebody else who's willing to die for a Photo TR! Somehow, I missed dying in the shark's mouth at Epcot (but I did like Nemo). Glad you and Catrina had a good time. Last month was my first visit to BGA, and I thought it was great (and Eric is a great host). Lemme know if you plan to visit Euroburg. Chuck -
Keep it up, dude! I've been fighting a battle of the bulge for years, so I know what it's like.

I was there on Sunday afternoon--both Rebel Yell and Grizzly were insane and out of control. I hit most of the coasters with minimal waits, but I skipped Ricochet (fairly long line), Hurler (refuse to wait more than five minutes for this thing), and the Ghoster Coaster. Gotta love that one-train operation on the woodies, right?

Photo TR: Julie and Joe at SFoG Season Passholder day

Gee--SFOG's Halloween decorations make PKD's Fearfest look like Halloween Horror Night at Universal. Good stuff, as usual, Julie. (I think Criswell predicted this, too.) -
Most disturbing story reported on local news!

This reminds me of an "ad" in Mad Magazine back when I was in junior high--for "Colonel Harlan Cinder's Kentucky Fried Crematoriums." Wow--you can cremate the deceased and provide the oil for cooking the post-funeral meal. What a deal! -

A-w-w-w. . . I never got to spend any time at DL or WDW with my nieces and nephews when they were that age, but my Dad remembers the first time he took his oldest granddaughter, Sarah, on the Haunted Mansion, back when she was four or five--she peed all over him! You've had quite a parade of company lately, Eric. -

^Most definitely, Eric--lemme know when you decide to come north and check out Griffon. As for me, I'm pretty much hooked on Halloween in Florida now, so I think I'll be back next year. -
Hi, Soren, I was wondering what happened with Alessandra the last few days of the TPR meet--sorry to hear that she was under the weather, but I'm glad you two got to enjoy Mickey's party. You got some great pics of the fireworks. Chuck

Once again, MK's Halloween overlay for Splash Mountain, which includes a live buzzsaw and a plunge into a lagoon of flesh-eating bacteria, is drawing mixed reviews.

My drive to work is between 15 and 20 minutes, depending on traffic and road construction (which is currently plaguing Williamsburg, thanks to the 400th anniversary of the Jamestown settlement and the monstrous crowds they're hoping to attract).

What's your favorite Austin Powers villian?

Yeah, you did Guy--thanks, again. And don't miss Albino Turd's newest, almost near hit, "A Big Steaming Pile of Your Love!" -

^"Albino Turd" would be a great name for a rock band, Guy. Julie, they did serve some fried wontons with three kinds of dipping sauce (pretty good, too). Were these the wontons you were referring to, or perhaps some kind of stuffed, fried 'ton? -
For me, no college break was complete until my Dad and I watched at least one episode of The Price Is Right. I'm sure Dad will be a little bummed that Bob's retiring.

Tor say what Robb say! Eat where what like to eat! No like 'Hana's OK, too. Less people, mean more turkey for Tor! Maybe too much turkey for Tor. -
Yes, riding Python at BGA on Wednesday, October 18 did bring back fond memories of the Roaring 20s Corkscrew at Knott's--of how much smoother these suckers were when they were new. Gotta love the up-down-screw-screw layout.

Gee, thanks, guys! It was great meeting some other TPRites and reuniting with some of my UK trip buddies. Criswell probably predicted that this would happen, too. Ohana's turkey chunks rule! -

Sunday was pretty crazy--even Nessie had a relatively long line (full in the upper queue), which only took a little over ten minutes (thanks to three-train operation), and the Smokehouse had a full queue before 4:30. So, Nessie, Wolfie (again, three trains), the haunted stuff, and I was outta there. Alpie and Appie were packed (don't know how many trains they were running, though). -
Actually it was Colonel Mustard in the Library with the Turkey Baster.

We have reached our last stop, my friend! We end where we began . . . No more visions of the future will I send to you! Can you prove they didn't happen? I am Criswell. Yes, witness the name of this "innocent" furniture store! But Crisewell dares not plumb its darkness today. But Elissa and the Mighty Lightsaber of Justice will prove too much for them! Or will it? At the last, the forces of darkness will send in their most tempting seductress! One will even join them. Those they would dare to call freaks will drag them across their threshold, forcing the travelers to acknowledge their existence. They will undergo the taunting of the damned. . . . and repulse them. Barbaric entertainments will both tempt . . . They will pass through a portal to a disturbing dimension, where all will be DEVO. Evil entities will harrass them. For to truly understand the darkness, one must crawl through its very guts! But they will endure many challenges, such as becoming part of an accursed house. The mighty Sheikra will once again take them upon his back--this time, on the wings of night! There, Chuck and Eric will be reunited with their fellows on this autumn odysessy. . . . at Busch Gardens Africa, where the forces of dakness hold sway!
