  1. How about anytime the Bulls win the NBA Championship?
  2. I hope this is bit better than "Jack Sparrow: Arr! This Be Soundin' Dangerous, Sez I!"
  3. ^When it comes right down to it, the main idea is to get people through the turnstiles, and I imagine this ride will be a big draw for an already popular park.
  4. Have you heard of a little ride called "The Ultimate" in the UK? I now return you to the CW thread, which is already in progress. I'm sure Leviathan will be a very enjoyable ride; hey, I'm a fan of the old Morgan hypers, too (lumbering beasts that they are).
  5. This Egg intrigues me--looks like a good alternative to my old Weber Kettle Grill.
  6. I've used Mears a few times and never found them to be any more "diabolical" than, say, the Super Shuttle or any other airport shuttle service. I do think a train connecting the airport to Disney and the convention center is a great idea; however, I despair of anything so sensible ever coming to pass in the U.S.
  7. Yes, "wardrobe malfunctions" abound on coasters nowadays.
  8. I imagine the English of most native German speakers is better than the German of Google. But, as Eric says, most of the park's guests won't notice, and it'll give Germans a good laugh while they're waiting.
  9. Yeah, I guess in his press release, which is meant to generate excitement and enthusiasm about the attraction, he should've said, "I hope it'll be OK." We shall see.
  10. Google Translate says: "You can leave your luggage with us." Take that for what it's worth.
  11. It looks like a prop from The Walking Dead.
  12. Yeah, I'd be hard pressed to determine which Hurler is the worst.
  13. "The Black Forest: It's bored and slightly irritated."
  14. I don't understand why they'd want to "reuse" that concept, anyway--it makes no sense. The "fahrt" shirts are better.
  15. I think Log Jammer was a custom design meant to fit the terrain, so I doubt it could be relocated (at least not easily).
  16. ^The park and the movie producers could be pulling ready-made images from the same graphics service. But it is an odd coincidence.
  17. ^Well, I'll be damned. Maybe it's some sort of "clip art." The park does seem to be going through a "bad shirt" phase at the moment.
  18. ^Yep--this is the most "story" they've tried to tell with an attraction since Curse of DarKastle.
  19. I'm glad that people are enjoying the updates--you're all welcome! ^^That's as good a guess as any.
  20. ^^No worries--Larry was very amused by it.
  21. Why? The problem with Grizzly isn't that it is rough, the problem is that the layout is miserably dull. The turns are taken slowly, there's minimal to no air time, there's just a general lack of forces. Timberliners wouldn't suddenly make the ride ten times better, it would make it smoother, sure. But even as a smooth ride, Grizzly would still be a sub-par coaster for the terrible layout. Agreed. Grizzly's problem isn't roughness as much as it is dullness. Hell, you'd need to put a rocket-powered Ferrari on the track to make that ride interesting. However, there are far worse wooden coasters than Grizzly (for example, Anaconda at Walygator in France).
  22. ^Are we still bitter over the loss of Horizons? I do miss the robot butler.
  23. Aye, 'tis passing wondrous that the visages of joy and pain should be thus entertained and intertwined. Yea verily, a Hurler in either Virginia or Carolina doth sucketh with equal magnitude. [disable shakepearean mode]
