I count the old Motorcycle Chase and Wacky Soapbox Racers separately, because the switch from cycles to soapbox cars changed the ride experience quite a bit.

I think each park got the ride that was appropriate for them--something to make them stand out a bit from their competitors.
We'll know soon enough how successful BGW will be with Verbolten.
^I don't think BGT has anything to be ashamed of with Cheetah Hunt--it's a great ride that fits in perfectly with the park.
I just hope Verbolten does the same.
Find the bumpiest country road you can--preferably with a washboard surface. Then drive over it in, say, an old Willy's Jeep at about 30 miles per hour. You will have experienced Son of Beast.
That being said, I understand where you're coming from.
It's nice to get a "sneak peek" at the scenery in the show building with the work lights on. Looking forward to seeing how it looks with the show lighting and effects.
I think Pirates, even if it is getting a bit long in the tooth, will be a much better draw than the Narnia flicks, which (as far as I know) never generated a lot of excitement.
^There's a little of both in Verbolten's queue. The park has installed a new entrance for the ride, which features a short, winding walkway. But remember that they're reusing an existing building, which they've also extensively re-themed; even so, they have to work around the existing space.
It looks a lot different from the old Big Bad Wolf queue--and better.
