It's good to see that they're putting in some effort to make Apocalypse more interesting. Is anyone surprised that their concept requires fire and explosions?
Not a fan of cioppino (don't care for shellfish), but bring on the pork Milanese (and the garlic, garlic, and garlic). The best meal I ever had there was last fall--the wild-mushroom-and arugula flatbread with goat cheese was great.
^Maybe you have to deal with these penguins.
Armored penguins with rocket launchers would definitely add a level of "intensity."
But, seriously, this attraction sounds more intriguing the more I hear about it. It could really "up" SeaWorld's game in Orlando.
Soon, DCA will be worth visiting again. Radiator Springs looks great, and I hope their new E-ticket ride measures up. I'm not a big fan of the Cars movies (particularly the second one), but I am looking forward to visiting Carsland.
I like how they used the tires of the car as signs for the Fast Pass and Stand-By entrances--but I imagine many guests will overlook them and go in the wrong entrance, anyway.
It does sound like Magic Mountain is doing some backsliding after a few years of improvement. The museum in the Sky Tower was a nice touch--I guess they just didn't want to dedicate any staff time to maintaining it?
Hmm--I completely missed this report when it was first posted. The ruins of this park would make a great setting for a horror flick--anyone for "Carnevil: The Movie"?
You've made your views quite clear. Please give them a rest, lest you wear them out. Everybody understands your feelings about Fast Lane.
In fact, I think everyone should give Fast Lane a rest for a while.
^I don't remember that being spelled out during the hard hat tour, but I was thinking the same thing. BGW has a "mixed" history with face characters, though.
^The food at Margaritaville is "meh," but the one in Orlando does make a good margarita. It is annoying that he hates the "tourist culture," yet connects himself to a few restaurant chains that openly cater to it (Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise).
