  1. And this was confirmed by the park right? Oh wait it wasn't. Just you. I swear to God people love to keep stirring the pot. Stop making stuff up when you know just as much as the rest of us. Found it on Cedar Point's TPR page. No, I don't think you "found" it there. You said it there. Plus, the "name change" is just idle speculation, at best. Can we put this ridiculous argument to rest now? Thank you.
  2. ^Don't forget the pre-show!
  3. I'm not that fond of lagers, but this one is pretty dang good.
  4. Alton Towers
  5. I remember looking at the menu for the LaQua Denny's in 2007--lots of "interesting" items.
  6. ^Does Japanese Denny's serve country-fried katsu curry with eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy?
  7. ^I think it was the 2013 footage; at least I didn't notice the Manta clone anywhere.
  8. I imagine it's standard procedure after an incident like this.
  9. I'm sure that chainsaws will be involved.
  10. ^I wouldn't call the hosts "douchey," but they were very "earnest" and a little annoying.
  11. I liked how they explained the physics behind some of the attractions and the mechanics of how they worked (particularly Falcon's Fury)--very accessible. You show up in it riding Steel Dragon (along with Matt and Lauren).
  12. According to an article in the Daily Press, Busch Gardens will be getting three new mazes for Howl-o-Scream this year. Many of you probably know about "Unearthed," which involves an archaeological discovery of an old house, because both Busch parks have been running teaser videos about it. What I didn't know is that Brendan Cowie, the producer of the The Blair Witch Project, was brought in to develop this house. The full name is "Unearthed: Scatlett's Revenge," and it's the story of a "backwoods woman with dark powers" who is out for revenge against those who "tormented and killed her husband." Her revenge involves resurrection--and body parts. You'll have a chance to face "zombie lumberjacks" in the "LumberHack" maze, which (according to the article) will be in the woods behind Verbolten. "Cornered" will involve a a lethal corn maze. There's some more info on the Howl-o-Scream website. All the scaring starts on September 25.
  13. V: Victory Kingdom (China)
  14. I just want to report that this thread is making me very hungry.
  15. X2--Six Flags Magic Mountain
  16. Six Flags Great America
  17. "Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell"--The Flaming Lips
  18. Looks like an improvement over the flume they used to have--the theming is clever.
  19. Thanks for the look at Scare LA, Dallas. I've always been intrigued by Dark Harbor, but haven't had a chance to see it for myself yet. Need to get back to Scary Farm one of these days, too.
  20. ^Frankly, I do prefer Anaconda to Drachen Fire. Of course, this is akin to being preferring a blow to the head from a claw hammer over that of a ball peen hammer.
  21. ^I've never heard that rumor, but I'm inclined to think it's BS (Anaconda opened in 1991, Drachen Fire in 1992).
