  1. I was surprised that I liked X2, but I rode on the inside seat, which isn't as shaky as the outside seat.
  2. It is the most interesting part of the ride.
  3. Not really. This is excellent news--thanks, Robb!
  4. If you have enough time at Waldameer, you should probably ride their classic Wacky Shack and do the pirate walk-through, as well (if you're into dark rides).
  5. ^I'm really looking forward to riding Manta in September (and to hitting Belmont Park and Pizza Port, too).
  6. I'm curious about Green Lantern, too, after having rode Insane. There's plenty of new stuff for me at Magic Mountain this time around (Twisted Colossus, Drop of Doom, and Full Throttle, too).
  7. Another food festival at Kings Dominion!
  8. I"m going down to San Diego after West Coast Bash with some friends. I haven't been to SeaWorld since I was a kid. Thanks for the photos.
  9. Get there early and ride Tempesto first; then the rest of the day should be pretty easy. I usually ride Apollo's Chariot after Tempesto, then head for Verbolten and work my way around. As for food, it depends on what you like. I think the best items at the park's main restaurants are the cannelloni at the Italian restaurant, the sausage sampler or roast chicken in the Festhaus, and the brisket at the Smokehouse. The Sausage Sampler at Festhaus is the best bang for a buck IMO. I'm sorry, couldn't help myself!
  10. Tokyo Disneyland

  12. Mmm . . . fried pepper jack cheese on a stick . . .
  13. Angus says, "What're you lookin' at?"
  14. It looks terrifying, but it is a fun ride actually. The side wheels help to propel the cars down the tracks and assist in making sure the car is in the center of the trough at all times. Oh, I've ridden it--thought it was just "OK." But those wheel assemblies are frightening looking and impressive.
  15. ^Perhaps because they haven't built one since El Toro? That being said, I'd love to see more Intamin woodies along the lines of El Toro and Balder.
  16. New, complete 4K video of Journey to the Center of the Earth at Tokyo DisneySea!
  17. If you can't see them, yet they're still there, they must be very "coy" fish, indeed. Or did you mean "koi fish"?
  18. I must confess, I have to agree with this statement, regrettably... I had high expectations for the park on my first visit, but other than Fury, Intimidator, and to a lesser extent Afterburn, nothing else was very exciting, in my opinion. Still, it's a nice enough park, and there's plenty of opportunities to grow and improve, potentially! Intimidator is a bit of a snooze-fest now, even thought I thought it was OK when it first opened. Fury and Afterburn are the highlights of Carowinds.
