  1. It's surprising how good some of the Togo coasters are in Japan, compared to the ones we have in the U.S.
  2. ^Yes, if I had just one night spend at a haunt, I'd definitely spring for Express Passes, Fast Lanes, etc.
  3. I would be over-joyed to see RMC retrack this ride, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was GCI. If I had to guess, I think you're right. I think we are looking at something more along the lines of what GCI did to Boulder Dash (which was awesome) but that's just my guess. Here's to hoping that whoever does this work does it well. I'd love the chance to experience what Ghostrider was like when it was in its prime. The first time I rode this coaster was after it had started becoming rough and barely rideable.
  4. Those are very nice looking trains. Surf Coaster is one of Togo's best rides, too.
  5. "What are the chances?" Pretty good, it would seem.
  6. Rest in Peace Yvonne "Batgirl" Craig: http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/19/entertainment/yvonne-craig-batgirl-death/.
  7. The "green lightning" effect on DisneySea's Tower of Terror is even cooler than I what I remember from past trips.
  8. As long as the new Star Wars land looks great and features some excellent attractions, I don't think anyone is going to be bothered because they don't know the "story" behind it.
  9. Quicksilver Express--Gilroy Gardens
  10. Always good to see work moving forward on a new coaster. May it serve them better than the penguin dark ride.
  11. I think it's better.
  12. Yes, I agree that Star Wars is more "fantasy" than "science fiction."
  13. I love Chip and Dale too. They deserve a better attraction anyway. Only Squirrel Girl can save them now!
  14. May as we'll take a night ride on this.
  15. Alpengeist about five minutes ago.
  16. Is this kid just trolling or just stupid? Or maybe he's using common sense. Cedar Point should rename it. Somebody was killed on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland in 2003. They didn't rename it. Why would it make sense to rename a ride that hasn't even been built yet and, therefore, hasn't killed anyone? It's going to be renamed whether you like it or not. Why else would they postpone it to possibly September or October? Because they've decided that it would be in poor taste to have a big new-ride-announcement celebration soon after someone was killed at the park (even due to his own stupidity)?
  17. The only Roar I've ridden is at Six Flags America. While I thought it was an OK ride a few years ago, I certainly wouldn't be upset if it got the RMC treatment. Heck, it even prompt me to visit that park again.
  18. ^My first guess was Vekoma, but time will tell.
  19. The Slinky Dog coaster is a nice bonus--didn't see that one coming.
  20. There was some other HOS prep going on, too. They've been setting up Cutthroat Cove, and I noticed some orange tarp and digging equipment in the woods behind Verbolten (location of LumberHacks) and some new buildings in a backstage area where Root of All Evil used to be (probably for the Cornered evil-farm maze). You can see some of this work from the train.
  21. So, at long last, much Internet speculation has come to pass. This is great news for the Studios park.
  22. Insane lumberjack zombies should scream this song will they chase you around the maze.
  23. I think I've found the location of the Unearthed maze. Call it a hunch. Sorry Europe in the Air fans.
