I was surprised at how "substantial" the track looked. That being said, I'm not likely to be riding any "backyard coasters."

^My opinion of Voyage to the Iron Reef is the direct opposite of yours. I really enjoyed it during West Coast Bash--lots of fun and very re-rideable. The log ride still rules, though.

Thanks for the look at Cedar Point's Haunt event. I've never been up there this time of year.

But it will bore you to death after one ride. I wish Storm Chaser was already open.

Update to the "Kilt Controversy" from the park's Facebook page: But ye better be wearin' something under your sporran, laddie. And in other news (also from the park's Facebook page): The word is that they're switching from the old cafeteria set up to a "marketplace," which will offer Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian entrees (in honor of Italian explorer Marco Polo's trip to China). Sound good to me--we'll see how it turns out next season.
