  1. I'd rather not visit a new park on its opening day, myself. I believe in giving them some time to work out the kinks in their operations.
  2. If the park is as great as it looks, it will set a new standard for Disney's Magic Kingdoms.
  3. And how about Williamsburg? I remember seeing this commercial when I was a teenager in California.
  4. Keep making posts like this and you'll find out! Actually he is indeed a terrible person! Proof?? He tried to eat me during my visit last year! Surely that's not a nice way to treat visitors from far away lands? But he loves Norwegian cuisine.
  5. Well, here's a real blast from Tampa's past.
  6. It'll be nice just to ride Revolution without getting my brains bashed in, as it was back when I was in high school--when it was still a great coaster. Too bad, it won't be coming with... "Senssssuround!" With the new VR helmet, I guess Revolution itself is now in "Sensurround." Gee, lap bars and "Sensurround"--the 1970s are back!
  7. X2--Six Flags Magic Mountain And as a bonus . . . Young Star Coaster--Chimelong Paradise
  8. Honestly, this is one of the things that keeps me motivated to finish my Master's and get into this business. I wish there were more parks with attractions that can be enjoyed by everyone! Cough cough. Just build Firechaser Express everywhere. Cough cough. EDIT: Memo Knoebels - Firechaser Express clone as your next coaster. Cough cough. And Powder Keg.
  9. Ultra Twister--Nagashima Spa Land
  10. ^I agree that White Lightning is fun--"old school" combined with a bit of GCI "twistiness."
  11. ^Blame SFMM's "YOLO" marketing campaign for the ride.
  12. I'm just looking forward to riding it someday. I like B&M Dive Coasters.
  13. Is that the same outfit who came up with Desperados? I'm a fan of those attractions.
  14. Busch Gardens Tampa
  15. Looks like a good way to freshen up the old 4D Action Theater.
  16. I definitely could go for a Boysenberry Turnover.
  17. ^Maybe the guy with the fire batons got a bit out of hand.
  18. Quicksilver Express--Gilroy Gardens
  19. I prefer to enjoy my Boysenberry pie at a more leisurely pace than they did at the pie-eating contest. Looks like a great food fest.
  20. ^"This is Oktoberfest" was axed due to "declining attendance," but there was quite an outcry when this was announced (people always wait until something is gone before they profess to "love" it). They also remodeled the Festhaus to accommodate new shows by removing the elevating band stand. I think if "Entwined" had turned out to be a good show, no one would've cared; unfortunately, it was, well, not good (and rather expensive). They are debuting what promises to be a big nighttime show in the Royal Palace Theatre in France. We'll see how that goes. They've had better luck with their shows for Howl-o-Scream and Christmas Town.
  21. Yep. Last year they featured a show called "Roll Out the Barrel." It was "meh," at best, too.
  22. That's one of the stranger "shooting" dark rides I've ever seen--but in a good way. Nice to see Ferrari World expanding its offerings.
  23. Not every ride model is going to be a winner for any company.
  24. Plan 9 from Outer Space
