  1. I think this ride is second only to Lightning Rod at Dollywood in terms of anticipation. Kentucky Kingdom's comeback continues.
  2. Gorgo (1961)
  3. ELF (Episode of Little Fairies)--Hirakata Park (Japan)
  4. They might be able to do some nice holiday overlays--for example, having the cars dance around Christmas trees.
  5. X2--SF Magic Mountain And while we're at it . . . Young Star Coaster--Chimelong Paradise
  6. I don't imagine there will be a huge crowd there on a Monday, even during spring break. As for the weather, March is tricky. It should be nice (probably highs in the 60s or low 70s), but it can get chilly and windy (we even had snow during Passholder Preview Day a few years ago). Just keep checking weather.com.
  7. Truth! While the technology had me intrigued, I wasn't terribly excited for this. After riding it last week I can say it was actually quite fun! It's a much better use of space than Flying Tires, and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I felt the same way about Mater's Junkyard Jamboree until I rode it.
  8. I think, as is the case with Aquatopia, you would have to experience the new Luigi's ride to fully appreciate it.
  9. Williamsburg Alewerks White Ale It's not my favorite, but quite pleasant. They brew it with a nice mix of spices, including coriander.
  10. My family used to make a trip to Disneyland every year, but we always started off with a fried-chicken dinner and an evening at Knott's.
  11. Well, it is about movies in a movie-themed park, you know. I'd like to see it updated and upgraded, though.
  12. Quicksilver Express--Gilroy Gardens
  13. "Rocket Cathedrals"--Be Bop Deluxe
  14. Panda Express is one of those places that I'm OK with, even though it's not amazing Chinese food; that being said, the new Chinese offerings at SFMM look pretty good. As for Revolution, it's great to see the ride looking "fresh" again, and I hope the new trains make it "good" again.
  15. To make it worse . . . they're retrofitting it with Vekoma trains and old Arrow OTSRs. All Batman rides are going to be converted to Vekoma SLCs.
  16. I love those freakin' Knott's Berry Farm biscuits, especially when they're smothered with gravy. Boysenberry Jam works, too.
  17. I'm not sure about all this "VR" stuff, either; my past experiences with this technology left me feeling nauseated. Still, I imagine "flying through Metropolis" at SFA would be better than over a vacant lot.
  18. It sounds like this show will have a more coherent story than the movie clip fest of World of Color at DCA.
  19. ^ & ^^ I knew nothing about Deadpool until all the comic-book fans went nuts when the movie was announced. I enjoyed it, particularly for the character of Deadpool himself (not so much for the story).
  20. ^Thunderstorms are a fact of life here during the summer, so I don't think it much matters which of those days you choose; any of them should be pretty hot and humid.
