  1. It is spring break in Virginia, but Monday should be OK. Your friend should be OK, too, although he'll need the "big boy" seats on Alpengeist and Griffon. It's hard to say without knowing his body type.
  2. ^There will now be a moment of silence. OK--bar's open!
  3. Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine
  4. That's great that they're enhancing theirs splash battle. The mountain looks pretty cool.
  5. Zabriskie Point
  6. I agree that Drachen Fire was a cool name; it's a pity they didn't have a good coaster to go with it.
  7. Founders Curmudgeon Old Ale Had a glass of this with my belated birthday dinner at Dudley's Bistro in Williamsburg; it's damn good, as was the dinner.
  8. Indiana Beach
  9. Founders Dirty Bastard A very nice Scotch-style ale.
  10. ^If by "totally happen at any time" you mean collapsing and tumbling into the abyss, yes.
  11. Yes, I would concur with this statement.
  12. Well, Boomerang looks purty, anyway. Fair of face, but foul of temper.
  13. Desert Storm didn't look half bad in that video--nice little park.
  14. Or, maybe there are nice trees there that don't need to be removed. Yes, I think they need that "buffer zone"--all parks can use a few quiet spaces.
  15. Josephsbrau Vienna Style Lager (Josephsbrau Brewing, San Jose, CA) Turns out this is the same at Trader Joe's Vienna Style Lager. Not bad stuff, but nothing special.
  16. Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach--UK
  17. You Only Live Twice
  18. Back in my college days, my friends and I would get takeout from that store when the wait for the restaurant was too long.
  19. I like what they're doing with this dark ride--sounds like an interesting concept. I wonder if any "underwater" effects will be as cool as the 20,000 Leagues ride at DisneySea.
  20. Yes, it was easy to take good photos of Shockwave; however, riding in comfort was not so easy.
  21. Allagash White (Allagash Brewing Company, Portland, Maine) A friend gave me a four pack of this stuff for my birthday, and for a wheat beer, it's quite nice. At 5.1% it has a decent kick, yet it's also fairly light with a good mix of citrus and spices--good summer brew.
