  1. This looks like the best spinning coaster since Winjas at Phantasialand. In fact, just a great looking coaster no matter what type it is.
  2. Europa Park--Germany
  3. The trains look pretty cool--should be almost as much fun to watch them "swimming" over the track as it is to ride the coaster.
  4. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril--Disneyland Paris
  5. The Mad T Party was never my "thing," either, so no complaints from me about it leaving.
  6. Aussie World
  7. I just spent some valuable time cleaning up this thread. I haven't banned anyone--yet. Please keep this conversation civil--no more childish insults (or egging others on). Thank you.
  8. Speed Monster--Tusenfryd
  9. Considering that the park installed a new flume and new logs last year, I think it's safe the assume that LeScoot isn't going anywhere.
  10. I remember the old "Battle of Galactica," as well.
  11. I'd say that's a pretty fair guess.
  12. I remember when the studio tour was over three hours long back when I was kid.
  13. It takes a lot of theming to make a building look so "ramshackle."
  14. Xinhua Park (Chendu, China)
  15. Ugetsu
  16. I thought Brolin was very good in the part, even though the character is a very whitewashed version of Eddie Mannix, who was much more ruthless in real life. Doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the movie, though,
  17. One of my favorite places on Earth! I had lunch at Magellan's back in 2007, and it was great deal then, too.
  18. Good thing Southern California is one of the most populated regions in the country filled with a majority of people who have not yet been to Orlando (and many who never will)... Yep. I haven't been to Universal Hollywood in years, but it was always a part of my family's SoCal vacations when I was growing up in central California. I also think that there's a different "feel" to the two parks that makes the Hollywood park worth visiting again.
  19. Durty Mud Season Hoppy Brown Ale (Smuttynose Brewing Company, NH) I like brown ales, and this is a very good one.
  20. Strange Brew: The Adventures of Bob and Doug McKenzie
  21. Too bad about the Falling Star. That's one of the few flat rides that I like.
