  1. ^ Prosthetic running leg?
  2. I hope so. Don't get me wrong. I LOVED my iPhone 4S. Sadly it died and I wanted to upgrade rather than just get another 4S. Perhaps the Andriod version will utilize NFC. Either way, I'm excited to see how well this works. And how long it will take other parks to utilize it.
  3. From what I can tell it is due to ops moving at the fastest speeds they can. Don't they load two trains at a time also though? This is correct. Verbolten unloads/loads/dispatches two trains at once. The first train when dispatched doesn't stop and continues right into the launch into the event building, the second train waits at a block right outside the station until the first train clears its block. Other rides that dispatch two trains at once include Cheetah Hunt and Top Thrill Dragster just to name a couple.
  4. As a amateur photographer (Pentax K-x), I love those "happy accident" shots. I know that feeling.
  5. My last trip to CP I rode Mantis around 8PM, and really really enjoyed it. My legs were sore from walking all day and the G force pulling the blood to my legs really helped afterwards. From what I could tell the trim was off and we barely slowed down at the MCBR. Maybe I just had a good run, but I found it enjoyable.
  6. ^ I would say Silver Bullet can be thrown in there. So four. But yeah, I would appreciate a drop tower.
  7. I picked the wrong summer to switch to Andriod. First the TPR trivia app and now this.
  8. Here is a crazy idea. Mag-lev drop tower. The car never touches the tower.
  9. Could a drop tower go in Raging Seas' spot? Or is it too close to skycoaster?
  10. Here is some video from news networks on the accident. The Coaster's RCDB http://www.rcdb.com/2499.htm TPR POV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnCJedY8aI4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYE3GBBXA-8
  11. I don't really put much stock into these rankings anymore. I mean, it may be beneficial for the GP, but I personally do not agree with some of the rankings. Specifically the absence of i305. Interesting to see Wild Eagle taking number 1 for 2012 additions. I haven't ridden it, but it had stiff competition.
  12. Man, I'm kicking myself for switching to Android earlier this summer (wanted 4g... sigh). I'll have to dig out my old iPhone just to play this!
  13. If I rode the spinning/pirate ship/disk-o of death I would totally be drying skid-marked whitey-tighties on the clothes line the home owner has set up afterwards. I can't even believe that thing exists. Looks like a great trip so far!
  14. ^^ Very interesting watch. I was lucky enough to sale on Allure in May. Being my first cruise I couldn't believe what was possible at Sea. Easily one of the most memorable vacations I have ever taken. I often forgot I was on a ship, it is that big.
  15. ^^Woah! There was a lake there? I never knew! Next season that area of the park should be looking much better.
  16. It is beautiful! I've always wanted to go to SDS, but this has really solidified them in my roadmap.
  17. A small dive machine would be a pretty good addition for Knotts. Glad to hear they are keeping the water, as it makes a dive machine slightly more likely.
  18. I don't really follow the price of steel, can anybody speculate why it hasn't been scrapped yet?
  19. I wish them the best of luck, I'm not thrilled with the butterfly house idea though. I've been to a conservatory in Niagara Falls and while it an educational experience, I hate how you can't help but step on the butterflys because they are absolutely everywhere. Even if your careful it is hard to avoid them. It is just hard to find that balance of family fun and casinos... Las Vegas has shown this time and again.
  20. ^Or we are crazy and everyone in the Marketing Department at KD will have a good lol when they read this thread.
  21. ^Wasn't there one of those in RCT?
  22. I love top hats! My favorite element and fashion accessory! "Quite"
  23. I'm not very familiar with the moon's typography. So when it was mentioned that snoopy was on the moon, I was able to see it. I quickly highlighted what I saw. I know it is just the actual moon, but it is kind of funny that you can make out a shape that does resemble snoopy. Original What I saw, because I'm crazy.
