Yeah, I'm guessing even Prince Desmond will pass on saving this one. Was it ever good? When it first opened was it's loop its only redeeming quality?

It looks like they disassembled it neatly. Is there any chance that they will try to sell it. I mean, I'm ok with it being scrapped. But it would be cool to see this built at a FEC or something.

I cannot wait until ECB. The alternate ride stories is a pretty awesome concept. I'll have to ride it several times to make sure I get to experience each one.

Random question. Does anyone know what became of the Wildcat at Martin's Fantasy Island (http://www.rcdb.com/414.htm?p=664). Did it end up as scrap? I got the credit as a kid, I recall it being a fun ride with a very forceful brake run. These are good coasters, nothing to write home about, but good coasters.

On a positive note, I'm really excited about what they are doing with that area of the park. A good park is not all about rides, it is about the environment and atmosphere as well. Getting rid of Wildcat should make for a good midway.

I guess the biggest loss is that +1 Wildcat added to their coaster count. But if removing the ride makes for a better park, then I am all in. Never got a chance to ride Wildcat at CP. I rode a clone of it at Fantasy Island when I was younger though.

Short? Levi doesn't seem short at all. I just quickly timed the POV from Leviathan against i305. From the top of the lift hills to the beginning of the final break runs were as followed. i305-44 seconds levi-55 seconds Levi is not short.

^It was tagged pre-demolition. I was in Las Vegas two months ago and stayed at the Strat. On my way to the strip I noticed that it had already been tagged. Such a sad site to see. Hopefully that end of the strip gets some love in the future.

Very excited about this as I had to abandon my New Hotness plans to pay for a new car. Now I'll t least get one day of TPR fun and a taste of what I can expect when I go on a trip next year.
