  1. I'm thinking of going to SFMM during Fright Fest in the beginning of October. The last time I went during Fright Fest Goliath was new, so its been awhile. Anyway, I know Fright Fest is only Friday-Sunday so I was curious about how the crowds will be during Fright Fest in early October on Friday or a Sunday (I dont want to try a Saturday). Thanks for any info.
  2. I don't think that speed is an issue with the "box" style track, they are used on Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster which both go 120mph+
  3. Another Intamin is the USA is a wonderful thing!
  4. I think once superman Re- opens, it will be a LOT more popular when the GP find out it runs backwards. I agree, I think if SFMM does some good marketing for Superman backwards the GP will be really excited about it. I see it being pretty darn popular the first year or two after it opens.
  5. Yup. Pretty f**king stupid, isn't it? Suriously! The ride hasn't even been announced, so how about we wait until we ride the new Superman before we give negative reviews of the trains and OTSR and this turns into another 50 pages of nonsence.
  6. I'm flying into Georgia in September, is SFOG driving distance from Savannah? I'm gonna be in GA/SC for 5 days and i want to ride Goliath but i dont want to drive a rent a car more then 4 hours, help me. mr.CB
  7. If I had my choice I would vote for a huge B&M Dive Coaster or a Intamin Maverick style coaster in 2012! But any addition they build is good with me, as long it isn't a Vekoma SLC
  8. I'm gonna assume that they are making at least one side of side of Superman go backwards by next year. That being said, all this talk about some sort of Dive Machine for 2012 seems kinda wierd considering making Superman go backwards is a very similar concept. I know that Dive Machines are full circuit coasters and what not but it seems kind of strange that SFMM would do that to Superman and then make a similar concept in a rollercoaster the following year. Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to see a B&M Dive Machine or Eurofighter at SFMM but it seems unlikely to me considering if they make Superman go backwards IMO.
  9. Screamscape posted another rumor about "Project 18". Its only 2010 so I have a feeling by the time this ride gets announced the rumors for this ride are gonna get quite old and rediculous
  10. Giant Dipper @ Belmont Park, last Sunday after a concert at WaveHouse.
  11. I guess what I meant to say was before '93 the only time I went to SFMM before that was when I was only about 4-5 years old and only able to ride the rides at Bugs Bunny Land. Thanks for the info on Revolution, I was always curious to when those OTSR's were installed. I have always thought how fun of a family ride Revolution would be without those akward headache machines on it. Oh the potential!
  12. My first trip to SFMM being tall enough to ride all the rides was in 1993, missed riding Revolution without the OTSR's by 2 years
  13. California (Home) Arizona Nevada Utah Washington Oregon Hawaii Texas Georgia South Carolina North Carolina Illinois Pennsylvania New Jersey New York Connecticut
  14. Just watched Rob Zombie's version of "Halloween" I was pleasently suprised. The really liked how he gave the back story about how Michael Myers became the killer he was. If you like the old school horror/slasher movies I would recommend this, I think it came out in 2007.
  15. Batman :TR at SFMM during the whole circuit. Tatsu at SFMM during the Pretzel Loop. Goliath at SFMM during the end helix.
  16. Good idea man! Congrats and cheers to a lifetime of thrills.
  17. I agree 100%! Regardless of what Hersheypark gets, im sure it will be amazing. I will definitely making a trip out there when this opens.
  18. I hope they make a full circuit coaster. An out and back hypercoaster from Intamin or B&M but be a great addition to the park, but I dont know how likely that is, but anything is possible!
  19. Loved those pics of Superman UF with the white sky contrast. Good TR, thanks.
  20. I'd would have to guess that Riddler's Revenge has been my most ridden coaster. I have about 150+ rides on it.
  21. Dark Purple and Black
  22. Any coaster that ends with a lift hill is a lame ending in my book so for me the worst has to be Ninja at SFMM.
  23. San Diego Chargers are gonna go 11-5 and win the AFC West again, getting the number 3 seed in the AFC.
  24. Almost forgot about the water rides at MGM Grand Adventures! Both were very fun. I loved that park when it was around because I rode my first Skycoaster there when I was 12 years old. I think it was called Skyscreamer if remember correctly.
