  1. ^This already exists. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47509&hilit=funtown+splashtown+usa
  2. All of this amuses me, because I loved the back row on Rattler. Made Mean Streak seem butter smooth.
  3. Yes and Yes. (I never found it rough at all, but maybe I just built up a tolerance to rough woodies). Have you ever been to a Legoland theme park?
  4. ^I thought El Toro only cost around 12 million, though I could be wrong about that exact number, but there's no way it was 30.
  5. Son of Beast with stand-up Togo trains. What's worse than Lex Luthor getting stuck at the top for 4 hours.
  6. Of course I leave Texas and then they decide to get (hopefully) a airtime machine 5 min. from my old house. Guess I'll have to make it back at some point. Can't wait to see what RMC have in store for this ride.
  7. When I went back in June they had the lights (or at least some of them) on in the main room with the helix, as well as in the building the train passes through after the 2nd MCBR. The ride felt like it was on its last legs. Anyways, have fun GKTW riders.
  8. ^That was posted on the last page. Can't wait for the reviews of this ride, and hopefully (unlike the mega-lites), one of these comes to the U.S. soon.
  9. That's exactly what I was thinking. It probably won't happen but I wouldn't be surprised if RMC did put in some sort of launch.
  10. Here it is: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=61005&p=1110520&hilit=gravity#p1110520
  11. The ride itself no, but the effects were. Are you planning to do a TPR trip in 2013?
  12. So they basically took a wild mouse and added an outer layer to it? I wonder how much of an improvement it will be.
  13. DT wasn't a great ride, but I'm upset I never got to ride it more. It was definitely near the end of its life, almost no effects worked and you could see everything inside the building, but it had a quirkiness to it that I loved. Ah well, if CP is indeed getting a wing-rider, I won't be running to ride it, but at least it will take away lines from everything else. R.I.P. Disaster Transport, You will be missed.
  14. I'm not good with remembering layouts so does this "element" come right after the first drop, or is there something before this?
  15. I don't know if this is usual, but Dragster opened up during Early Entry at around 9:30, with no wait whatsoever. Of course it ended up breaking down as soon as we got into the station, but it was cool to see the enormous line of GP lining up outside the entrance (which they had closed off), while we were waiting in a near empty station with 20 or so other people chatting with the ride ops.
  16. Though I doubt it would happen, it would be cool if they did a near-vertical drop similar to NTAG which lead into a double up into the first turn. However instead of turning back around, it went along to the right, diving and rising off and on the cliff, until it got to the other side of the park. From there it could do an intense helix/some other element, then make its way back. Probable never going to happen, but hey, at least SFFT is finally receiving a signature ride that (hopefully) will have tons of airtime.
  17. Sorry, but this show has lost my interest. Even Robb can't bring it back. And WTF Aftershock!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  18. ^The announcers don't know much either, they said that Afterburner was the most expensive ride in the park. What about the big red ride behind it?
  19. X Flight Nitro or Apollo's Chariot?
  20. ^^I was there on the same day, and I agree it was a good decision to use Fast Lane: worth every penny to ride Maverick with a 5 min. wait instead of standing in an 1 and a 1/2 hour line.
