  1. ^^ I think we can expect something B&M-y but also with some new elements. They have never tried tackling anything near this, and if I were them I would put some cool elements in the really make it stand out from the WingRiders and the Arrow 4th dim. ^I'm guessing it could have new restraints, but I'm not counting on it.
  2. ^ Or better yet have a whole NEW theme park open down here in the Springs! It could have this! Along with the new 500 foot Intamin!
  3. ^^If all goes well I'd love to see one at Elitch Gardens
  4. UGH. Those restraints look horrible. Almost as bad as Intimidator. Why must EVERY good coaster (because this has already been built) be butchered with OSTR's?!??!111? Snarf snarf. Don't people understand that this is CONCEPT ART. Its obviously photoshopped with a picture of Furius Baco... I never thought this would be in B&M's market for this kind of ride, but I'm sure they will find a way to make it great. (Unless this becomes B&M's first failure... I really don't want it to be )
  5. ^ Haha, sex education is teaching abstinence, but it doesn't work. during my middle school years I know at least 5 girls that have been pregnant Quite sad.
  6. Riddler's Revenge came in 1999 if I recall correctly. Maybe its just because I absolutely loved my 2 rides on Riddler's Revenge on my one sole trip to Magic mountain 4 years ago that I want to see a B&M stand-up.
  7. ^^ Now that I re-read my post I didn't really make my point clear, which is that disney is just a more family friendly place than IOA. (Or thats at least the way the GP look at it)
  8. I consider IOA my favorite theme park. Last time I went was in November '07 and it was a ghost town, probably because of the date we went. My family doesn't even consider Disney at all on our trip, in fact we spent 3 days in Orlando before a cruise (november) and we just solely spent our time at the Universal parks. I digress. I think the reason for the lowish attendance is because IOA is seen as more of a "Thrill" park than a family place, even though that isn't the case. Most people who go to Disney (Or just Orlando) have younger kids who wouldn't be ready for the B&M awesomeness that resides at IOA.
  9. ^ Haha, that reminds me of last time I went to Elitch's with my friends. I went with 3 friends of 1 who had never rode the Mind Eraser (first time at the park, for that matter). So when we were at the station they started arguing over who could sit with me They all know of my super coaster fanaticism and like sitting with me cause I'm so experienced with coasters The first time rider ended up sitting next to me.
  10. Well I'm gonna have 3 judges, and supports won't be judged much at all, considering we know how hard it is to support wooden coaster
  11. Couldn't that make that lateral G's on the flat spins pretty high? Or does the MCBR barely slow the train at all? (Haven't been on a B&M Invert for a loooong time)
  12. Blackpool looks like a great park! I'm gonna have to go someday. even if just for the Arrow shuttle. Judging by the pictures, the park looks very... modern? I don't really have the word to describe my feeling about it. Annnyyyway, nice photo TR, lots of pictures, which I love
  13. ^ That's the only ride in the park that still gets my heart pumping...
  14. I love waterparks alot, and my "home" waterpark is Water World in Denver. They have a ProSlide Behemoth Bowl, which is incredibly awesome! They have a Half-pipe that is pretty tall, can't remember exactly how high though. And the Screamin' Mimi, which is basically an Alpine coaster with a pool at the bottom. If your lucky you can have your raft skim across the water like a stone thanks TPR
  15. Cedar Point is looking for a new woodie to replace the rough and unpopular Mean Streak, and they've hired you for the job! They want to get started as soon as possible, and want your design in by August 21st for approval. Cedar Fair has put together a list of do's and don'ts for your coaster. Rules 1. No transport track is allowed, unless used for transporting train from station-lift or brake-station 5. Must operate with at least 2 trains, any length. (E-stop tested) 6. Inversions are allowed. Everything else is up to you! There is no template. Scenery is allowed but it will not add to your score. Scoring Rubric: Up to 10 points for Technical (smoothness, etc) Up to 10 points for Fundamentals/Technique (Creativity) Up to 10 points for Thrill Factor Once again, the deadline is August 21st Track not submitted Track Submitted Possible entrant Entrants: 1.Sasquatch 2.thrillseaker92 3.HCLcoasters 4.the ghost 5.CCJared 6.RCT3D 7.gci2011 8.inflameswetrust21 9.james.sylvester 10.Rocket Rodder 11.Ace Of Spades
  16. Perhaps I'll do one then. I just need to think of a good theme.
  17. Now that I think about it, it might be fun And of course it's summer vacation so I do have a lot of time on my hands... I'll think a little more and maybe I'll do one. Only problem is I have no prize to give
  18. I really wanna join the next contest that pops up...
