  1. Eh, Its fun to mess around with. I don't have the full version, I don't need to save scores. Just enjoy writing songs and seeing what I can come up with.
  2. ^ $600 I think. Well... i'm really impressed with this program. It looks like an easier to use elementary with more indepth building. I'm gonna finish watching these. Thanks for pointing me to this
  3. ^Alright. I'll give it a shot. Sounds like an awesome program. I sat through a playlist of of 10 lessons (@10 min each) for Sibelius 6 when I first got it. I'm sure I can handle a few videos Well, I'm going to download that and try it out. Thanks! i'll let you know how it goes.
  4. ^Thanks for the input. I'd like to learn how to incorporate heartlining into my coasters, but I'm not sure how to do it... I did change a few parts so that the dive machine cars navigate safely through the course, but my G's are awful. (is there anyway to get max/negative G's stats without running it in 25%?) Now that I think about it I did oversupport on the lift drop part. The tunnel is gone Well just last week me and friends went to Elitch's and on the way there, we went through every track I had created. I can see the drastic improvement over time. A coaster I made a year ago I thought was top notch is now utter crap compared to my new ones. I'm excited to learn more and get better especially since I have people to tell me what to improve on. I'm not sure what to make next, I might just go with a custom Arrow looper. Sounds fairly easy plus I need more practice on creating corkscrews...I'm awful at them. Once again thanks alot for the criticism, I find it invauble.
  5. Lake malaria! That stuck me as hilarious for some reason. That made my day
  6. ^ I always have the heartline turned on, I don't use it for its intended purpose though. I might start messing around with it though, I've wanted to incorporate heartline rolls into my coasters but I wasn't sure how to do it. I'm gonna try messing with it though.
  7. Update: COMPLETE! Yay. After hours of staring at B&M DM's and frustrating clicking, I have finished! It's as perfected as I can make it. Its smooth, fast, and FUN!!! Criticism is MORE than welcome Pics and track download: Dragon Fyre.nltrack Si. Its the track. Lift hill and drop First airtime hill First Immelman Second immelman from a cool angle First Brake run Sexy water spalshdown Mainly for showing the supports on the immelmans Lift and drop supports Looking down the first drop The world, Viewed in Immelman Splashdown POV
  8. Wow. I just read through all 60 pages. This is incredible. I wish I could make something remotely as awesome as this. Is it just me but does anyone find this thread as a "soap opera" for coaster enthusiasts?
  9. Update: I finished the Trackwork, while there are some incredibly tiny moments of red g's, those only happen for split-seconds even on 25% speed. The track is smooth and non jerky (imo, I'm far from a NoLimits expert!) and just looks incredible with the short car flying over the immelmans. Changed hold brake to hold farther down the drop. Fixed immelman jerkyness fixed the -20.4g hill into a safe one. Added water for the water splashdown.(Terraformer ) Hopefully by tomorrow I should have the supports done! Relying on tons of pics of SheiKra and Griffon for this one Pics! (Yes these are JPEG's) Out of the station + Immelman near miss. SPLASHDOWN!!!! Lift and drop (Once again should I keep the tunnel?) No limits loves putting 2 trains on the lift hill Flying through the Immelman *Pictures a dragon flying in an Immelman* Immelman... FROM BELOW!!! Curves after the first break run. 10. Huh. I go up to Aspen every year for the X-Games (not anymore!). Me and my family always stayed in Glenwood. Had I known about it I would have gone. (Or is it even open in the winter!?)
  11. Makes me wanna dig out my old copy of RCT2 and play it! Albeit I wouldn't have custom scenery... Park would still be crap Your park looks amazing. That red coaster looks like EPIC fun.
  12. I'm pre-ordering mine from RS tomorrow
  13. How do you get the thick supports around a Schwarzkopf loop? I'm ultra confused on how to do this...
  14. I'm back So far, I've finished the (rough) design and trackwork, but needs some extreme tweaking. I saw -20.4g at one point It's completely hand built, and (will) include a water splashdown (I have no idea how to work with 3ds so just imagine that there is one It has an airtime hill right after the first drop then back-to-back immelmans. after is a hill with wayyyyy to much airtime (-20.4gs) and a brake run. one short drop into another brake run then the water splashdown. Piccys! I'll also provide a track link at each update. GriifonV2-100614193653000.bmp First drop with hold brake. GriifonV2-100614194012009.bmp Looking up the first drop (should the tunnels go?) 15. ^^ I feel that seeing the support pictures will help me. I'm really set to make this dive machine ^Yeah, I had seen people use that type when I was just lurking around the forums and not posting
  16. After hours of frustration in improving this, I'm gonna give up and start working on a new one. I seriously wish they had dive machines in no limits. Thanks for the criticism and tips everyone. I'm sure I'll use them on my next coaster
  17. I find it bizarre that I've had No Limits for years and I've never noticed that.
  18. ^^ How would I zoom in? That seems like it would be VERY helpful. EDIT: I figured it out. I had NEVER seen those buttons before. Those will be IMMENSELY helpful in the future. ^Yes, I was extremely disappointed with the immelman. I might just take it out and replace it with something better.
  19. ^ I hadn't thought of that tunnel idea. I'm going to use that from now on I wasn't really going for a full B&M clone, I would have put a pre-drop. I just build the coaster and saw it semi-resembled one. I agree about the lift hill transition. Later today if I have time I'm going to work on it. I really tried to get the supports vertical, I just couldn't! Any ideas? I'll try again, anyway. Thanks for the tips, I'm gonna try to fix some of those problem spots. (maybe fix the Immelman). If I get it to a better point, I may post my new track
  20. First Park: Elitch gardens First Coaster: Sidewinder First New Park: Hopefully Knott's First New Coaster of 2010: Hopefully X2 or deju vu (closed last time I was at the Mountain)
  21. I'm not sure what to call this one. Perhaps a butterfly batwing? xcarNEEDSSUPORTS-100613131919000.bmp
  22. Mine is... me.
  23. Love the theming. Alot. I love the "mine train"
  24. Looks just like the real thing. I prefer this orange paint scheme to the old one. Can't wait to see the finished version!
  25. I wasn't really going for anything specific with this one, but I after I finished the track work, I figured it was good enough to try custom supports. I think the supports turned out *okay* for a first time, but I found them hard to do. Overall, I'm happy with the whole coaster, just a little bit frustrated because I don't know how I could improve the supporting. This coaster has, in order, Vertical loop, overbanked turn, strange overbanked 90 degree turn thing, zero g roll, Fail immelman, Great corkscrew, corkscrew with strange quirk at the end, vertical loop. A few strange elements on this one Here goes... untitled-100612225527000.bmp First drop goodness and loopy sexiness untitled-100612225545001.bmp Strange overbanked turn thingy untitled-100612225601002.bmp Zero GEEE and fail immelman untitled-100612225630003.bmp 1 Sexy cork and 1 semi fail cork untitled-100612225646004.bmp Tiny loop + lift hill untitled.nltrack The track
