^I agree I would hate to see Riddler's get rethemed. It is iconic in a way and the music playing in the station is just awesome... I hope I'll be able to go back to MM soon to hear that music again

So I'm back with another coaster, this one my personal favorite. Its an Intamin Stand-up made in the late 80's. It is the only stand-up coaster made with an Immelmann loop. It stands tall at 154 feet, reaches a speed of 61 MPH, but is on the short side at a track length of just 2250 feet. It has a maximum positive G force of +3.7, and a negative of -0.4. Its highest lateral G is 1.2. I'm planning on making roller coasters named after all of my friends (for whatever reason this seemed like a fun idea) so that is where the name came from. The supports are all custom and are made based on other Stand-ups. Without further adieu, here are some pics, and a track download. I already saw the trains on Wilhelm's mine train coaster, and they look great! How do you make them? I know it involves modeling, but what program do you use? and how do you make it fit on the track perfectly? That seems like it would be incredibly hard to do!

Like a skyfire/kamizaze? those are double inverting ships and have metal OTSRs that don't hold you in at all. It was utter chaos in that cage... me and my friend were actually screaming for our lives

^ The Chance Chaos restraints are pretty comfy aswell. Top Spins are the worst, mainly because they break your ribs when they close... (that was a little bit of an exaggeration )

^ I wish I had the chance to ride this great coaster. I wish Arrow wouldn't have died I was hoping they would have relocated the coaster, but at least the trains will have a new life.

I had thought about that, but I figured not many would be making them, plus, I didn't want to just completely rule out inversions, as I don't care either way. If anyone has progress they are welcome to post it here

^It will really depend on the severity. If you have one G spike for a split second that isn't very high then I won't count it (Really just need to wait 'till judging day). But if I see constant spikes of 100+ (I've seen it before, just look at some of the low rated coasters over at nolimits exchange ) I've added everyone to the list

Its looking quite good! I also love how your water ride is called "Shipwreck Falls". Thats the name of the one at Elitch Gardens. And at EG, it has a splashdown bridge... coincidence?

I know! I was thinking the same thing. God, this is like, horror-movie type accident. These are the kind of things scared little kids think of before they ride. Its a wonder that no one was killed.

^ I think those ones on some European Schwarzzys are brillant. You basically get the same safety as traditional OTSR's, but more freedom, IE, if your short and ride an Arrow or Vekoma looper, you can't see anything to the sides of you...

Haha, I was thinking about starting a topic just like this. I was thinking the same thing when I was riding the Boomerang and Sidewinder (Arrow Shuttle) a few weeks ago. I didn't see any need for OTSR on the Boomerang. There aren't any negative g's The Sidewinder has some pretty nice negative G's but no reason at all to have OTSR's... It doesn't make sense.
