  1. I had always figured that hitting your face against B&M restraints would be painful. However I didn't think it could happen...
  2. Mind Eraser at Elitch's... Not a bad SLC
  3. Yes, they should be allowed to! I really don't see the problem. Generally when I go to Elitch's, I'm the only one in my group who will ride the Intamin Drop tower. There are almost always 1 seat left open. I could be near the back and ask to take the seat and the employees will let me up. At one time they used to yell "Any single riders" and then you could take the seat. I don't see the problem in this...
  4. I should get the construction kit. I didn't even notice the force values. I should have paid attention to those. This could be a really intense, crazy coaster.
  5. While this looks AWESOME... I'm confused on a few things. 1. How are you getting the train to go 250 MPH? I thought the simulator capped LIM speeds at 126 MPH. 2. How is this going to be survivable? This could be fairly dangerous in those turns. You can't put more 5gs on a rider. Those turns are looking like 8+. I'm anxious to follow this, and see where it goes
  6. I love how your #100 was Flying Coaster That just struck me as REALLY funny for some reason.
  7. ^^ KT is lucky! She will have all the kiddie credits out of the way so she doesn't have to hassle with them as an adult
  8. Oh wow! The project now costs $64 million?! Efteling must have ALOT of extra money to spend! With this and their new dark ride, they are spending a fortune
  9. Great update! I really wouldn't care if Indigo Plunge or Monster Mash hotel left. I'm wanting to see a B&M Stand-up... The suspense is killing me!
  10. ^ While doing a re-theme might be pretty cool, I wouldn't like the idea of Derecho's name being changed. The name has history behind it... A derecho lightning storm delayed the opening, or something along those lines. And I'm fairly certain Derecho was supposed to have a patriotic theme when it was being built, until a derecho did something that impacted the ride... (What was it!!) Anyyywayyy... The park looks amazing, as usual. I'm hoping for a B&M stand-up, that seems 1995-esque. I'm thrilled to see what you will come up with next, CD5!
  11. After watching that video and seeing that kind of tram, I'm even more confused. How hard would this gate have to be pushed to cause serious injuries? This is incredibly baffling and no news station has any more information...
  12. ^ The sad thing is, those "Extremely large woman" are commonplace. The clientèle of Elitch Gardens leaves much to be desired...
  13. My heart goes out to the people that were injured and I hope they make a full recovery. I just don't understand a few things... What kind of swinging metal gate would be that close to tram, and how does "Inadvertently pushing against it" cause this much damage? I'm thinking the guest wasn't "Inadvertently pushing against it"...
  14. ^ Of course you come right out and infer that every Vekoma Boomerang and SLC are rough...
  15. I would either say Rock n' Rollercoaster or The Incredible Hulk. But I'm gonna go with RNR because it was my first looping coaster I was only 8 years old, and me and my dad waited in line for like, 45 minutes. After I saw that the coaster launched, I got really scared but my dad wouldn't let me leave because we waited so long. Long story short, I LOVED it.
  16. ^ It took me a while but was sooooo worth it. I thought about looking through Hershey Hawaii but the 115+ pages I saw disturbed me . I'm looking forward to more updates, as this is an amazing idea (timeline parks), I didn't even know how heavily you could theme parks until I saw this thread. I though RCT3 was cram as many coasters and flats into an area as you can But now I see the light, and I tried to make a themed park, but it was a fail.
  17. Well, this is my first photo trip review, and I didn't really make too huge an effort to take good pictures as I was having more fun than I thought! Well basically we left Co. Springs at noonish, we made it to Elitch's at around 1:00. It was me, my little brother, and our friends Sterling and Jeff. Sterling had came with us before, and was kinda scared that time but he managed almost everything in the park, this time he was fearless. This was Jeff's first time ever to Elitch's (or any roller coasters) so he was a bit nervous but we didn't have to convince him to ride anything. He got on with the "I'm scared but it's going to be awesome" mentality. I explain this because I hate it when I bring someone to Elitch's and they don't ride a thing because "the train might fly of the track". Its extremely aggravating and not even worth the trip up there if I have to ride everything by myself... But this was not the case! We first got there and ran to Chaos, which has to be one of the best flats ever! If I ever get super rich, I'm putting one in my backyard Afterward we went to Sidewinder, the amazing Arrow shuttle. The airtime caught Jeff my surprise, but he loves it. we then went to Twister II and had a blast on the rough, forceless coaster (still fun though). I'm not sure what we did the rest of the day but highlights include: -Seeing extremely large woman in short shorts and and cutoff shirts -Seeing a gangbanger hold his friend on the bridge to Shipwreck Falls and proceeding to beat the s*** out of him when he got soaked -Reporting a dumb lifeguard for not helping Jeff in the wave pool (waves were mighty strong ) -And of course not letting the "ghetto" kids who think they own the park line jump. Anyway, heres some pics... Someone forgot to charge their camera battery, and only got a few pics... 120 years of fun Adam, Jeff, Sterling. The midway is well themed. The ferris wheel is getting a sexy LED light package. Can't wait to see it! Mind eraser is erasing a few minds Chaos is doing its thing, being an INCREDIBLE flat. Troika was down. Twister 2 from the Sidewinder station. Loop-de-loop... A great loop. Obligatory Twister II picture. Twister II station. It was empty. Rest in peace Flying Coaster. Actually, don't. Mind Eraser is a very smooth SLC.
  18. I never thought I'd see monkeys riding dogs. You sir, have made my day!!! Carnivals are waaaaay too expensive.
  19. Way to bump a thread from 5 years ago
  20. ^All the Wacky Worms are plotting... who knows which will strike next?!
  21. I don't know any specific hotels, but I was on hotwire with dad looking for hotels in Orlando. For last minute stuff, I couldn't recommend it more. They don't give you the name of the hotel, but they give you the star rating, Price per night, and the location. We found a comfort inn for $16 a night! So I would advise looking on HotWire for cheap hotels.
  22. I never knew how huge those support structures are! I knew they were big, earthquakes and all, but not THAT big. Those are simply amazing!
  23. I'm once again speechless. I'm in total anticipation of what the new ride could be!
