  1. Technic Coaster @ Legoland CA when the park was absolutely dead due to the power outage!
  2. At Legoland California in Pirate Shores: "Let's go on that mini roller coaster over there" Says a mother when referring to the Treasure Falls Log Flume
  3. Went to the park around 2 o'clock today, completely deserted: Technic: 5x Dragon: 3x Splash Battle: 2x Treasure Falls: 1x Coastersaurus: 1x I also got around to uploading... LEGOLAND'S NINJAGO WEEKEND! Last weekend Legoland hosted a special event themed to their popular set series Ninjago. I went out and braved the labor day crowds to check out the event for myself. Overall it was pretty nice, the SHowplace Theater was showing the Ninjago Cartoon Series during the day, there was a scavenger hunt in Miniland for a prize set, and there was a Pagoda & Tournament area set up on the Miniland Grass. Apparently this tour started in CN at the beginning of the summer, and has been working it's way west for three months. This was the last stop on the tour. I apologize for getting these pics up so late. What do we have here? I guess I'm in the right place. The pagoda style tent they had set up was actually pretty nicely themed, inside and outside. And of course, being Labor Day weekend, there was a huge crowd waiting to get in. We'll be back there in a minute. They had several of these giant Ninjago figures set up around the area. I dare! Another one of the many figures set up. Nearly there. The pagoda entrance. So inside the Pagoda there's a foggy entrance with four different paths to choose from. As you reach the end of each pth, you are given a wristband that corresponds to the theme of the path you took, ie. Fire, Water, Lightning, and Earth. You then took a right and entered a Dojo-esque room where you were shown a short three minute film about the Ninjago characters. A model in a glass case outside the tent on the other side in the "training ground". Backside of the tent. Here they had a few tables set up where you built your spinners w/ the people. I'll have a video up later to show the area in better detail. The second area is where you "tested" your spinner against other players and a on mock-up Fortess. Then finally area three was where you actually dueled against other people. They had several tornado-shaped arenas set up on this stage. My figure on one of the un-used arenas. A closer look at the stage. The crowds never let up. Thanks Legoland for putting on such a cool little event! The kids around me seemed to absolutely love it!
  4. I laughed SO hard when I saw that visual scan picture! It's really hard not to comment on it . We were doing something like that during Bay Area Bash
  5. ^ This may not be true, but I hear from a friend that apparently the El Loco there has been having a lot of issues? He mentioned that the pneumatic restraints were not releasing properly around every hour or so...did you experience any problems such as that?
  6. Legoland's Coastersaurus....it just sounds really cheesy...
  7. ^ I would add the air tank to thr S&S Screamin' Swing.
  8. Six Flags had Premier modify one of of the loops making the radius slightly larger to reduce Gs. Anyway, I really like Hi Miler for the insane airtime it has!
  9. ^ Tas is an old HUSS ride, not really surprising to see it down so often sadly... As for the Boomerang, it's really an anchor attraction for that back area and always has a full queue. I would love to see the new vest restraints put on both Kong and Boomerang.
  10. I very much enjoyed the film. As a fellow movie creator, I congratulate you on such an accomplishment as this. Filming in real life is easy, filming in RCT3, not so much.
  11. Hi Miler is one of the best portable coasters in the US, I can't speak for Europe however.
  12. ^ Unfortunatley RCS has even more reason to get rid of it after this: Third one down; http://www.rideaccidents.com/
  13. Leviathan - Canada's Wonderland
  14. Descend - Homestuck Soundtrack Vol. 5 http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/descend
  15. Holy crap! Quadruple Post? ^
  16. ^ Both of those coasters however still maintain very long lines and are very popular. The SFDK team, even said they eventually plan on getting the new Vekoma Vest Restrain Trains for both coasters eventually.
  17. Just got through Act 5, Act 1, in Andrew Hussie's phenomenal web series, Homestuck. Over 3000 pages long, and I'm still hooked!
  18. I just realized that this ride once made an appearance at the DelMar Fair...somewhere between 1999 and 2001... I wasn't very old at the time, maybe 5-6 but I remember that ride looking absolutely insane.... And had no line...
  19. Lakeside Cyclone @ Lakeside in Colorodo?
  20. It was confirmed by a Legoland CA official that 2012 would be a "medium sized" addition to the park. What that addition is, I have no clue.
  21. Went to Disney and got two decent shots out of the 50 I took...
  22. No one gets it? Aw. I was hoping at least one other person on this site besides Motchroid would know about it...
