  1. Agreed. Even with lapbar trains, without the brakes, that drop would be incredibly painful especially in the nether regions... If you were not absolutely stapled....owowowowowowow...
  2. I had no idea this was even possible...especially with no serious injuries... I think this qualifies for one of this year's biggest WTF theme park related stories...
  3. They're documenting the project. So obviously, they'll show stage one in video one. And also, how many people got excited about Cheetah Hunt dirt videos?
  4. ^I have to agree with you on that one...just look at Takabisha, as well as all other El Loco models...they all have brakes before the drops. Just wait a few days and maybe by then they'll have the lift & drop partially done. Even if the trim doesn't go on immediately, you'll be able to tell whether or not one will go in place...
  5. What we are saying is that there are other elements on a hyper coaster besides the airtime hills.... Look at I232 for example... As well as several direction changes throughout the hills, the ride has a large turnaround as well as a helix. I'm just saying you should have a little more variety in the layout...besides the airtime hills. I'd also suggest, if you haven't already, using the Extended track for this, as you get a few more pieces to shape hills differently.
  6. ^It's a wooden coaster, so it's loud. Nothing near it to justify noise canceling.
  7. There should be a bit more variation in the hills... Look at Diamondback, SilverStar, Goliath etc. and add a bit more flare...
  8. That hyper has a pretty boring layout, I'd try making it a bit more interesting. You have a lot built, instead of adding more, why not try adding more detail to what you currently have before expanding any further.
  9. At this rate they'll be testing the ride by the end of December! This is one of the fastest non-fair coaster assemblies I've ever seen!
  10. While the park has not confirmed or denied the presence of a double station, I think they would have mentioned that in the press release...
  11. ^I am not exactly sure I get what you mean... I try and put a little detail onto each of my flat rides. Lighthouse Lagoon has the water, Aces High has the Ace topiary, Magi Maelstrom has the Facade and Firework Flyer has path interaction.
  12. Now only if Legoland CA could have their announcement for next year... When was LLF announced again? edit: Looks like exactly two years tomorrow!
  13. ^I really doubt they'll have the Q-bot option for opening day, seeing as how massive the crowds will most likely be... Did anyone go to any SF ride openings this year and confirm/deny this?

  16. I'm looking forward to this! It'll be interesting to see this park develop....
  17. There are no videos of the ride that show a decent experience, as it's simply too dark. The ride itself is excellent and I recommend just waiting and riding it to get the full, immersive experience.
  18. Do you have block sections checked in the station menu?
  19. I can almost see them breaking ground for Ultimate Flight sometime during late November or early Decmber, as Pandamonium won't take very long to be dismanteled...the biggest demolition with be the station, which isn't too difficult. I have a feeling track will arrive sometime in January or February, especially considering they don't have to dig any footers, as the concrete pad serves as a giant anchor (at least it looks that way from the animation). Definitely going to be there opening day for this beast!
  20. ^It was built at the factory first, that is why there is no trees.
  21. Things are about to get, WEsTern! Shot0505.bmp
  22. Bannana Track That is some sexy lookin track.
  23. Lighthouse Lagoon Shot0504.bmp Lighthouse Lagoon! The long lost Spiral Slide returns!
