  1. any Batman clone, hands down. Dueling Dragons is pretty forceful at points as well.
  2. Wow! If it turns anything out like the model it should be very cool. Reminds me of "Evil Knevil." Is the rendering showing two cars for a train accurate? If so, that'll really help with capacity.
  3. Yum! The layout is way more complex than I expected. I'm hoping we'll see Busch pick it up and build one or two in the states pretty soon.
  4. Battle Star Galacta has two sides, one sit down non inverting "family" side, and a more intense side with loops and lots of forces. Albiet manufacturing problems, it works pretty well. I like the idea of a dueling woodie which could bring nice variety. Hopefully something like the Raven at Holiday World with a twisty dueling part in the middle. Good luck! ;D
  5. The million dollar question regarding an inverted woodie--would it be smoother than an SLC? If you are planning on building a woodie, I'd recommend a nice pre lift like Ghost Rider, low to the ground ejector hills and turns, and some surprising underground tunnels. The world needs more Gravity Group! ;D
  6. Would you recommend this Friday or Saturday? (Which would be less crowded?)
  7. /\ sure... Also rides like California screamin' promote unecessesary screaming and improper use of punctuation. I hope you weren't serious.
  8. I'd really either like to see a Gravity Group woodie in Demon Drop's former location, stretching toward the beach behind Disaster Transport, or an Intamin Ball Coaster (http://www.intaminworldwide.com/iag/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=47&Itemid=32) I hope CP goes for an Intamin Ball Coaster rather than a ZacSpin as I find it more unique and interesting layout wise (forward/backward launches) and I don't want Cedar Point to end up copying Magic Mountain like Six Flags copied TTD. Something unique will draw me to the park, and an Intamin Ball Coaster would be the first of its kind.
  9. Cedar Point without a doubt. The park is just perfect panorama's since it goes long wise across the peninsula, and has little depth.
  10. Wow! That's sexy. I love my Intamin Rocket Coasters... On the other hand, I'm really enjoying finding the "hidden arab" on the home page slideshow: http://www.ferrariworldabudhabi.com/
  11. I have been waiting forever for this, and it DOES NOT disappoint. Glad the y went all out with Superman: Escape from Krypton, and the ZacSpin looks pretty sweet. I'm very excited to ride one of those. The park also released a new expansion video. Very impressive.! Cannot wait to go back this summer. Looks like Cedar Point has some work to do next year! 2011/2012 is THE YEAR for Southern California--now its almost time for Knott's to make their 2012 announcement.
  12. Isn't there an overbanked turn at the beginning of the ride right after the launch? Also, I agree about the Stengal Dive bit... the ride could have definitely benefitted from one or two.
  13. /\That's what I always thought.... Cheeta Ka as in Kingda Ka.
  14. /\/\/\Since we're on the topic of facebook: Like. Completely agree with you. I hope over critical fans aren't ruining it for Busch Gardens, who put so much effort into their new amazing looking attraction.
  15. It definitely appears to be using the Spiderman system. Nice to see it being used more.
  16. 48" height restriction and no OTHR's? what's to complain about!
  17. Regardless of the name, I'm very excited! Looks like a longer Maverick. Seems very speedy. The animal exhibit art looks very immersive as well. Makes me really want to visit Busch Gardens now...
  18. Great news. Can't wait to see USS fully up and running. Glad they're trying their best. I really hope the Transformers ride will be just as awesome when it comes to USH.
  19. /\Well... the comments were certainly interesting, especially "The Villan's"...
  20. The only ride I've ever "whited out" on was the Incredible Hulk, although it probably had to do with the sharp transition from the cool dark launch tube to the extreme Floridian heat.
  21. I'm guessing that you bipass the loop by switching over to the other side at the base of the loop where the entry and exit into the loop pass each other.
  22. Wow. Even though I haven't been on many of their rides, however Mack has always intrigued me enough to become my favorite roller coaster designer. Very sad.
  23. !!!!!!!! The first four seconds of the fourth clip seems to have been leaked. click "Clip 2" and it shows the train entering a zero g roll. To the left, you can see a nice camelback hill. http://buschgardens2011.com/ here's a photo showing the airtime hill and the entrance into the zero g roll: The new clip seems to overlap with the first.
  24. Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood: Love the short lines and being able to ride in dozens of times in a row!
