Islands of Adventure! Mythos was amazing, and the Three Broomsticks was VERY good as well--especially the butterbear.

ow. That's difficult. It'd be between Desperado and Manhattan Express (as most painful) although personally I wouldn't consider either of those coasters "bad," although I am not a huge boomerang fan...

I'm still debating if I am happy about this or disappointed--disappointed the firefighters came too quick!

Best: Silver Bullet. Relative to the rest of the roller coaster which is pretty meh, the helix is pretty forceful and probably the best part of the ride! Worst: Revenge of the Mummy USH--Your souls are mine, bright lights, then there's warehouse like tunnel which you have to wait in for like 5 minutes because of the HORRIBLE stacking.

Mach Tower is a little disappointing, the theming is not as "much" as I expected and I was hoping for one of those newer Intamin Drop Towers with the tilting and multi drops, but the waterslides are more interesting than I expected... still cannot wait to here more of the Multi launch coaster!

Did anyone else notice the part about the two new speed slides, 75 ft version with drop out floor and a 300 ft slide, as well? Sounds like a good addition.

Yes please! I could definitely see a swooping plunge into the river working very well.

I agree. Maverick and Fahrenheit are both relatively compact, while this seems very long, smooth, and stretched out, more like Furius Baco or even Rita.

I cannot stop laughing of that woman's sudden head thrust two feet forward at the launch! I can't stop replaying it.

WOW! I'm definitely going to have to check out BGT when I go to Florida this summer! The ride looks very VERY long for a rocket coaster. Glad to see it will have multiple launch points which will be great for speed, and lots of blocking (capacity). I imagine it will be very exhilirating rushing over the savannah like that. Also looks like there's a possibility of some duel action...

Toy Story Playland is opening in Hong Kong Disneyland. Little Mermaid is opening at California Adventure. Star Tours II is opening at Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios, Florida. great list!!

Also "...best water park just got bigger." I could definitely see an expansion.

One question--after the rehabilitation, will Texas Giant be considered a steel coaster? I would assume so, just as I would consider Gemini a steel coaster, but just wondering. The drop looks ultra amazing!

great trip report! The story about your Grizzly was great. I remember once going on the Revenge of the Mummy with my grandma--up until the launch she thought it was a tour of an "antiquity museum" showcasing treasures from Egypt.
