^Huh? Wrong thread. Not really because the direction of the radii is constant. It doesn't change direction or pull up. You can tell because none of the pieces are on top of other objects. They are all directly on the ground and you can tell in the one pic of the connection that it doesn't pull up any. If it did, the angle of the end (perpendicular to the side of the spine facing the ground) in correlation to the ground would be less. Am I confusing?

With my thinking, the boy might've just wanted some attention. If his mom neglects him by leaving him alone in a water park (DANGEROUS PLACE!!!), he might be neglected in other siuations as well. If this is the case he might want to spend more time with his mom. She might not like the idea of her child having a disorder and thus leaves him alone or avoids him. He may have just punched himself to get the bruises. It's a little far out there but I hope it makes sense.
