  1. Nice pictures, Larrygator! I would personally be over the top thrilled to go to a TPR Europe Trip Once! It looks like it'd be so amazing... One quick question-Did anybody accompany you on the extended part of the trip?
  2. I just installed Neton2 and now the game won't open correctly. An error message pops up saying that it doesn't have the right channeler or something like that. I just have RCT3 without expansion packs and all of my other CS works great. What isn't right?
  3. Is that even a question?! Of course! Do you get 'turned off' by Vekomas?
  4. ^^&^Racer has been basically cloned. KI & KD Racers and Carowind's Thunder Run are all very similar to each other.
  5. Hanno, are you sure that this is a theme park? It has amazing theming everywhere! But some of it's ruined by those unsightly coasters that stick out like sore thumbs. Amazing photos as well.
  6. ^Or on the front section, perhaps? But this just looks ridiculous and crude. It's clearly not a modification done by B&M, and I think that it's similar to Disney installing the brake part on CaliScream and Intamin not claiming responsibility for the accident that occurred. I hope it doesn't lessen the ride experience, it looks quite forceful.
  7. I won't answer that due to the nature of the question (doulbe-entendre). Will you answer?
  8. The day started out great...so of course that HAD to change. Just stubbed my toe on my piano's sostenuto pedal and ripped off my big toenail and it's bleeding slowly. I curse that damn bloody pedal! I have a terrible headache and have broken out due to an extreme allergy to pollen. So here I sit in frustration.
  9. ^^When I first saw that the first thing that popped into my head was: Cool! A clarinet .3ds!
  10. ^Neither did I, but if it can happen on a Boomerang of SLC, chances are it will eventually happen on a B&M. It seems though that the situation was more or less resolved and all is well for coaster.
  11. ^ But remember, NL doesn't show rotational Gs but combines them with the lateral so there are really four different types of Gs put on a rider. Rotational, Lateral, Vertical and Acceleration. Also, 150 lbs. a person for one load bearing wheel with four seats per car is a little unrealistic. There are ginormous people called ACERs and the love to try to fit in those seats so the weight per seat is nearly 300ish lbs. maximum. But you also need to factor in approximately 1/4 of each carriage's weight (frame, wheels, harnesses, seat, hydraulics, etc.) for each seat of the train (plus an extra 1/6 for the leading car) and then you have the minimum amount of weight/force that will be required for track and support integrity. But, there are more things to calculate. The duration of the amount of force, momentum, kinetic energy of the train.....By all means, have fun with it! But I am certainly no expert.
  12. Wasn't X-Coaster SBNO for a while? Anyway- nice pics that really show off some of the park. I've never been there and there seems to be a lack of pics from anything but the coasters. By the way...Detonator (Space Shot) at Wof is 200 feet tall but you only go up 165ish feet. The Accelerator (Double Shot) at Celebration City (RIP) was itsy-bitsy. I'd guess less than 100 feet tall.
  13. I am terribly claustrophobic, coulrophobic (fear of clowns), but mildly hoplophobic (fear of firearms) and atychiphobic (fear of failure). Wow I've got problems... Does anyone know what this phobia means? Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia.
  14. They made them. Schwarzkopf, Huss, etc. etc. are all German companies
  15. Why the hell didn't I go to Germany with you? I could have been rockin out on a Schwarzy with a big a$$ pretzel in my mouth! Maybe someday I'll go back and go to the fairs which I somehow overlooked last time....
  16. Haha...In five years Buzzsaw Falls [Apart] will...fall apart, I mean OPEN! Great update by the way! Is the chute hacked or something to get the two types of flume? EDIT: Well, as it appears, I'm a day late...
  17. ^Hopkins made a model nearly identical to CD5's chute that had the mid-drop bump. It looks great though! I hope that are gets even more attention!
  18. ^It's a difficult angle to tell from but it does look...très énergique (sp?). Thank you for pointing that out, I never would have noticed it!
  19. I haven't been to any of those three parks but I would go to Kennywood for a full day on perhaps a Mon/Tues (there tend to be lighter crowds at any park) and plan your trip around that if you want to get all the credits.
  20. This just struck me as odd when I looked at the dates on the front page, but how do you and Elissa both get all the vacation time for the trips? Because there's what, three big ones a year with each like a week long (or more) and a whole bunch of smaller events that you guys attend.
  21. I haven't seen any episode of it yet but it appears that from your descriptions, he only does the 'gimmick' rides and those that *appear* extreme while the smaller attractions can be as much or more thrilling. ***cough***Maverick***cough*** Would you say this is what the show is like?
  22. Am I the only one who thinks that elements can look sexy? Well I think that the overbank looks fugly Just sayin..
  23. I think he was wrong...My instincts tell me no. I would say that many layers of H2O (vaporized or in liquid state) and nitrogen would automatically turn a shade of blue without any need to reflect. When sunlight and the image of the gases enters our eyes and hits our retinas, it turns a 'blue' shade (if we can perceive them, that is). Am I right?
  24. Not quite, but close. Have you ever waited for 45 minutes at a Sonic drive through? NOTE: There was a retaining wall directly to the right with no room to pass and cars in front of and behind of me. Argh!
  25. ^I was saying your wheelbase system looked quite solid in principal and physical strength. It looks to be near foolproof and durable for it's cost. When I saw it the K'nex models instantly came to mind. I like the look of the track and supports, honestly; it looks futuristic in a sense! Thanks for the input though, and leading me to that site with the Demon model! Maybe I could clear away some of my extra HO trucks for a train...
