Yeah, I'm pretty lenient on critcism, but that episode was just plain bad. And the critics are crap, since they base reviews on THEIR OPINION. Oh, and it probably is the best Glee yet, since all of their episodes are pretty terrible.
-
I couldn't agree more. I'm a die-hard RHPS fan, and you can't take that many liberties on such a great film! I watched the whole thing just to see how terrible it was, and it was worse than I had expected. Just to clarify, I'm sure the proposed remake with Marilyn Manson as Frank would have been better! I was correcting every little thing they did wrong too! It was just hands-down terrible. Also, Glee's main viewers are teenage girls. Very few teenage girls know about RHPS, so there were alot of jokes that they didn't understnad and such. Anyways, Glee just needs to continue sucking and covers of new songs and not make a fool of themselves by failing at a tribute to Rocky Horror.

I was browsing through the Roller Coaster DataBase and something caught my eye. Apparently, Zamperla will be building a new park called "Scream Zone" on a currently vacant lot near the boardwalk. Also, it says that this is where the Volare is going! Sorry if this is a repost, I'm just kinda excited to hear about this. - Sam Marrs

Like a bunch of people on here, I would get Great Coasters Int'l to build your woodie! They seem to design unique and TWISTY coasters that are usually smooth and enjoyable. And that's what most people like, smooth and twisty. I love all woodies, but I tend to care for coasters with more sharp turns and twists than your everyday Out-and-Back. I like a big helix in the middle of the ride. Whatever you do, I'll be there! I live in East Texas and can't wait to see this thing up and running! Thanks for proposing a new park for Louisiana. - Sam Marrs

What's your favorite Flat ride?

Call me crazy, but I love the Zipper! But NEVER ride the Orbiter after riding the Zipper 3 times in a row! My fair has terrible ride placement -
Yeah, it would be nice to see SFOT get a full-sized ferris wheel. However, the observation tower makes up for it IMO.
-
Actually, Six Flags Over Texas DOES have a Ferris Wheel. A tiny one at that, but it counts.

Yes. Have you ever been to Dollywood?
-
When I was really young I did. It was alright, a little overpriced, though.

Actually, the Giant Drop is not underrated at all! Most people know about this ride. -

Thanks for that lovely picture, Robb. It seems like you guys had fun on the "It's All About Bryan/A$$ day"! Wish I was there! -

Nice video! The G-Forces on that ride look insane. I heard Zamperla only has a 10-year lease on the land and I don't know if they'll stay any longer than that, so I'd better go soon! -

Hopefully no one has mentioned this, but the film "Funland" was filmed at Six Flags Over Georgia. -

I've never heard of that waterpark before, but it looks great! I like the different variety of toilet bowl slides, as those are my favorite slides! I need to go here soon Great TR. -
Photo TR: NASCAR Speedpark, Sevierville, TN

When we arrived at Nascar Speedpark, we were told that a few of the rides, including the coaster, Speedway Draft, would be close today due to weather, even though there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The park has lots of potential, but needs to focus more on family fun than making money. It cost 32 bucks for unlimited rides! Anyways, here are the pictures. Enjoy! The park's entrance. The sign was gone, for some reason. It looks VERY nice from the outside! Once you enter, the first thing you see is a huge arcade and gift shop. One of the race cars in the arcade/gift shop. Another one of the cars. The indoor rock wall seemed like fun, but I passed it up. Yay! Speedway Draft! Closed. After checking Roller Coaster Data Base, I sadly discovered that Speedway Draft has been SBNO all year. One last look at the helix. The most impressive ride at the park was the double decker carousel. It, the Tilt-A-Whirl, and the Scrambler were the only rides open, even though the cashiers told us that only a few were closed. The Tilt-A-Whirl had one of the most insane and longest programs I have ever seen. I passed up on the carousel and the Scrambler. Instead of the thrill ride section, I have renamed it "Hot Pavement World Full of Puddles". This was the main go-kart track. The tracks were fun, but most of the drivers thought they were on bumper cars, and the staff didn't care enough to intervene. I would like to add that there were some open kiddie rides and a mini-golf course on the other side of the park, but I ran out of time and I couldn't take pictures of them Well, that's it for Nascar Speedpark. Now on to the BONUS PICS!!! The next day we went to Gatlinburg and rode the skylift. It was alot of fun and had great views! The view. Thanks for reading! -
Amazing water slides
samisthabomb replied to FLIPDUDE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Royal Flush at Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Canton, Texas, is pretty insane! It's just a toilet bowl slide at first site, but when you realize it's a body slide and there's a 4 foot drop into a whirlpool once you fall out of the bowl! You come flying out of the slide, too! This is the only picture I could find -

No, but I'm riding a tower of the same kind in Dallas, only it's taller! Have you ridden Mystery Mine at Dollywood?

Most disturbing movie you've ever seen?
samisthabomb replied to Sasquatch's topic in Random, Random, Random
Some of the Most Disturbing Movies I've Ever Seen: Rob Zombie's Halloween - It's a good movie, but the deaths are sooo grisly. I loved it, but you have to admit, anything Rob Zombie will scar your mind. House of 1000 Corpses - Probably more disturbing than Halloween! The Hills Run Red - Just don't watch it! -
What's your favorite Flat ride?
samisthabomb replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My favorite flat ride is the Fabbri Hard Rock. They're rare; I've only seen one of them in my life. Here are a few pics I found: Here's how you start. Once you are in your restraints and the ride cages are shut, the entire ride begins to spin. Soon after, each individual car begins to rotate upside down. The arms then begin to tilt up, and you eventually wind up like this: Very intense flat ride! If you see one, be sure and ride it!
