  1. Okay, that Sky Pilot looks cool!
  2. I love the 4th one! It fits the site really well.
  3. Please let this be as cool as it sounds! However, with a height of only 14 meters, I'm not sure...
  4. I'm pretty sure it was Rock 'n Roller Coaster at WDW. I rode it once, and decided to go again a few days later. Right before they dispatched the train, I freaked out and told them to let me off! I guess once was enough for me I think I was around 7.
  5. The New Texas Giant! There has been so much debate on every aspect of this new coaster. I'm surprised SFOT let such a great coaster (IMO) be the guinea pig, but I'm happy they did! I think thing thing will be great
  6. My love for all things roller coaster began at age 6 when I rode Titan at SFOT. I'm not sure if I was even tall enough (they didn't measure me), but I guess since I was with my dad they didn't mind. All I remember is telling my dad to hold me on the lift hill, banging my head into the side of the train on the helix of death... and then wanting to ride again
  7. Haha! It's evil as in it makes you feel as though you just broke every bone in your body! There weren't any seat dividers in the one I rode. Ouch. Oh, and I want to go up there and get me some fris!
  8. It doesn't matter where you sit, that Hurricane ride is evil! Great TR! I'm really enjoying this thread
  9. Apocalyse Video = Cheesy Cat Puts on Bunny Hat = CUTE! I'm all for it.
  10. That first pic turns me on in unexplainable ways. Seriously, though, this thing looks crazier with each new photo! I hope all goes as planned and the ride is enjoyable. In my opinion, the structure seems sound and sturdy. Didn't Rocky Mountain Coasters say this track doesn't weigh much more than the original track? And, with those steel reinforcements attached to the overbanked turns, I'm sure the ride is structurally sound. I'm a huge TG fanboy. I'll admit, I was sad and upset to see it go, but when I started posting/following this forum and saw the construction pictures, my feelings turned from upset to excited! I'm planning a trip to SFOT and Sandy Lake on my birthday, so I can't wait to ride this for myself.
  11. ^Holy crap! I have that book too! What page is it on?
  12. Pretty cool, but I'm not waiting 430 minutes just to win a ball
  13. Parks I Am (Most Likely) Visiting: - Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington (I need the new TG & Flashback credits) - Sandy Lake, Carrollton (First Time Visit) - Kemah Boardwalk, Kemah (First Time Visit) - iT'z Family Food & Fun, Houston (Indoor FEC, First Time Visit) - Zuma Fun Center, Houston (FEC, First Time Visit) - Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio (Need all but 1 credit) - SeaWorld San Antonio, San Antonio (Need all but 1 credit) - Canton Christmas Tree Farm, Canton (First Time Visit) I MIGHT be going to Magic Springs in Arkansas, but there is a lower chance of visiting this park than any of the others. If I do go, it will be my first time visiting the park. If all goes according to plan, I'll get over 18 credits this summer! In the enthusiast world, this is a small number, but keep in mind I don't have a car yet
  14. ^ I love it! I got: A milkshake mixer A really cool iPod dock that looks like an 80's boombox A Mad Hatter Action Figure A Cashmere Sweater (It's so soft!) 2 magazine subscriptions A roller coaster book A shower radio A shower gel dispenser shaped like a nose 2 ties movies My Chemical Romance's new album, "Danger Days" candy (nomnomnom...) I saved the best for last! Can I get a drumroll? Last but not least, I got... A CLUB TPR MEMBERSHIP!!! It was the best present of all
  15. ^Yeah, the line's going to be pretty massive. Sadly, you're probably right about the Platinum Pass ride not allowing you to ride twice in a row. Knowing me, I'll probably wait over and over until I get tired of riding it! I'm going on my birthday, so I'm taking two friends with me. I told them about the renovation and that the line is going to be extremely long, and they were both pretty bummed when they realized they were going to have to wait so long. That is until they saw pictures of The New TG!
  16. ^^Sounds exactly like my friends! The only downside of being a theme park enthusiast is that your non-enthusiast friends have no idea what you're talking about or you get aggravated because they have no idea what they're talking about
  17. That black train is just plain SEXY! I live about 2-3 hours away (depending on traffic), so I'll be riding this quite a few times this year! I just can't wait until they start testing it.
  18. Yes, Typhoon probably won't be around. It has recently been sold on Ital International's website. However, I don't know who it was sold to...
  19. ^ Agreed! I think I'm slowly getting crazier
  20. ^ Wow. Once, my friend tried to convince me there was a corkscrew in Titan at SFOT.
  21. Yeah, I was pretty sure it had been posted before. I just think Kat's response is hilarious.
  22. I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I think it's hilarious that Kat called savethebigdipper.com a "scam" site: Wow. If you haven't seen what pops up when you click on the "Donate" button, here it is: If anyone would even think about sending all that information to that address, there's something seriously wrong with their brain It's a joke, not a scam. Apparently, the real site is a scam!
  23. ^ I know! It was pretty terrible. Was the accident you're talking about caught on video? There was a vid uploaded on YouTube of a Lolli Swing full of little kids just falling apart! I believe on part of the top piece actually fell on one of them
  24. ^Same with Safari. Back on topic, that just looks insane. I like it!
