^^^They are magnetic so if you ride later in the day when they're warmer they'll be less effective so you'll feel them less. Either way they don't really detract from the ride for me.
^^^Even if they would have told you that, your follow up question would have been "when is it going to open?" So you would have received the same answer regardless
While I wish Marty the best of luck wherever his career takes him, I'm all for this change. Things have already started to turn around and I only see them getting better with time.
^If it's anything like my trip this past Sunday your longest wait will be X2 at 45min. My recommendation is always hit the back of park 1st. My first stop is always Goliath where you can get 2 or 3 rides in without even getting out of your seat. From there I'll hit up Scream, Colossus, Batman, Green Lantern, Riddler's and so on. I usually save X2 for last.
Went on Friday and had a damn good time. Thinking about going again in a couple weeks. That noise ordinance really sucks cause the Terror Tram will be closing at 9 on their Thursday night events they have coming up.
Armchair engineering at it's finest..........
CW got a kicka$$ ride and all people are worried about is how long/high the brake run is?!?!?! Give me a break. The ride was DESIGNED by engineers with actual mechanical engineering degrees (not RCT/No Limits degrees)
In regards to the layout......it is what it is. If the park wanted an extra helix....they would have made it happen.
[End rant]
^Correct. The MCBR is attached to the main brake run.
At 1:08 you'll see that trains comes to the first section (would normally be a MCBR) and then there's a "gap" before entering the next section of brakes (main/safety brake). Next would be transfer/station approach. Still has your normal 5 block B&M setup.
Station, lift, block brake, main/safety brake, transfer/station approach. This is what sees most logical to me by looking at the rides design and comparing to other B&Ms that run 3 trains.
To be honest all of this really shouldn't matter as Leviathan looks to be a kick a$$ ride nonetheless.
