  1. ^That it is. I'm glad it's getting some TLC as it's my favorite attraction at the resort. Looks like the height requirement is going to bumped up to 42". So besides Gadget's Go Coaster, Space Mountain and Big Thunder will become the new "1st roller coaster" options.
  2. Micechat has posted a park update that shows testing of the new Matterhorn bobsleds.
  3. ^That's hasn't been confirmed but it is what the ride op told me. I'm thinking they just removed the items completely and put them back in the admin offices where they were probably found to begin with.
  4. ^^My thoughts exactly. ^That's what the Sky Tower op said. I gave her the benefit of the doubt on her knowledge seeing how she operates it. I'm not even sure operators are allowed on the lower level so she definitely could be wrong and the items may have been removed completely from the tower.
  5. Definitely gone. Took these today. The Sky Tower op I talked to today said all of the museum items were being stored in the lower observation level. She didn't know if the museum was coming back or not which we all can pretty much agree it probably won't be.
  6. ^^School is still in session so you'll run through the park in 3, maybe 4 hours, max! You can pretty much guarantee all coasters will have 1 train. Even with that said, you'll have no waits still except the occasional 2 or 3 train wait for a front seat.
  7. Most likely one that says "Leviathan."
  8. Cars Land is looking absolutely breathtaking.
  9. Exactly. Glad the city of San Diego decided to play nice. Even though this park only has a handful of attractions there's still plenty to do for a full day IMO.
  10. To meet that opening date won't they have to start testing pretty soon? How long does it usually take to test/what are the requirements? Testing time varies greatly. The manufacturer (In this case Intamin) will have their programmer/mechanical engineers do a series of tests and they will do a certain amount of cycles before "handing" the ride over to the park so they can do their own testing. During the parks testing is usually when state inspectors will come out and do their inspections and have the park make any necessary changes so that it can be approved for riders. Each state has different requirements for amusement rides.
  11. ^I'm not so sure HE knows his point....... Just throwing that out there.
  12. ^^That's getting done right after the steering wheel that's going to vibrate & spin out of control on all trains.......... In all seriousness that would be a great effect.
  13. Rode Transformers on Saturday and I was thoroughly impressed. First 2 times we rode was right at park opening and waited no longer than 10 minutes either time. The 2nd time they did have technical difficulties which only lasted a few minutes. A very cool thing was that they gave everyone in the loading area a bag of peanuts to munch on while they waited. Being a new attraction maintenance staff was pretty much on site within seconds. The 1st time I rode I wore the glasses and enjoyed as the GP would. Every time there after I was a complete nerd and was watching the elevator lifts and thought their movement is felt only very slightly. It's hard to tell the vehicle is changing levels. Special effects are very well done and Dolby 3D is very amazing. Naturally, the wait time increased as the morning continued and by 1 the line was at 90 minutes. We decided to take advantage of the single ride queue and rode an additional 3 times within 20 minutes. The crew did an exceptional job at loading and unloading. The groupers were loading single riders like crazy. Single rider line is the way to go. Only issue I see is that the single rider queue is very small so I can see it being shut down multiple times throughout the day due to high demand but still worth it.
  14. That waterfall is a VERY nice touch. I wouldn't even dream of SFMM doing anything remotely close. Premier is probably too busy trying to get that S:UF track manufactured and out the door.
  15. ^Lack of spell check really shocked me. You'd think a company would want something like that to look presentable but I could be wrong......
  16. Source: CW Facebook Not bad at all.....
  17. Joey, I'm assuming Gate "A" passes will be accepted during technical rehearsal? If anyone else knows for sure feel free to chime in. Thank you
  18. I hope you are correct sir as I'll be visiting the park on Saturday.
  19. Nice "Behind the Scenes" article on Cheetah Hunt
