  1. I did a horrible job outlining but it gives you a general idea of the nice sized plot of land they're dealing with here. Also keep in mind the construction doesn't have to be limited to this area. The ride could travel anywhere outside of this area.
  2. ^^Not to mention, the only Schwarzkopf shuttle loop in the US. And a damn good one at that!
  3. The park's trying to save money. Wait until it falls, then pick up pieces. Saves money from the demolition.
  4. Purposely valleying a train is a new one for me. I know first hand parks discuss "what if" scenarios for operator training and a valleyed train is 1 of said scenarios however actually doing it makes no sense.
  5. Trims or no trims.......do they make SkyRush any less bada$$? I think not!
  6. ^^Not to mention they are home to some of the most dangerous animals in the world.
  7. After reading the entire article it seems that progress will be made. At what pace? Only time can tell. Ouimet is bringing a much needed refresh to the Cedar Fair product offerings. I like the idea of the added Peanuts characters. The KBF Hotel does need an update badly and I'm glad to hear CF owned hotels will be receiving some TLC. Knott's in particular badly needs a nighttime spectacular of some sort. Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular was "cute" but still fell short of "spectacular." In regards to the new marketing, I'm all for it. This one is kinda funny I'll admit.
  8. I can't speak for Eejanaika but X2 would be a solid 8 in the back. With "10" being extremely rough.
  9. ^^Looks like it might be winning quite a few awards.
  10. X2's 2nd raven turn is a bit brutal in the back.
  11. It was probably done to reduce the length of chain that was needed on Leviathan thus reducing weight.
  12. Togos by far have the slowest lifts.
  13. Definitely something you wouldn't expect from B&M. From Intamin? Yes absolutely!
  14. Awesome view of first drop. Source: CoasterFriends
  15. ^^^^There was magnetic trims there but I believe they were removed shortly after the ride opened. I could be wrong.
  16. Doesn't have enough speed to navigate the 2nd raven turn. 4D trains lose speed very quickly. Add wind into the equation and that makes matters worse.
  17. I agree wholeheartedly. I LOVED operating Mine Ride and It holds a special place in my heart.
  18. They already have Road Runner Express which is close enough to a hyper.
  19. The Coaster Guy has some images of the vallied train. This is the exact location the other trains vallied.
  20. You get a backstage tour of Zoom. What's to debate?
  21. It's the off-season so I wouldn't be shocked at all if Jet Stream is closed for 3 weeks or so. My recommendation is to contact the park to inquire about ride status.
  22. ^On par with any post 2001 B&M.
