  1. "Alternate viewing" in front of Little Mermaid will not be available if their queue is using it. That "alternate viewing" is Little Mermaid's extended queue which rarely gets used but with Cars Land opening and crowds coming in the masses, it may very well be used every day.
  2. 1st show books out in early afternoon........Around 1ish. I would get your WOC Fastpass 1st thing when the park opens and then continue your day. Worst case scenario would be to watch the show from the roped off area in front of Little Mermaid as there is no Fastpass required and still gives a decent view. ^And, yes the WOC Fastpass system is not connected to the Attraction system.
  3. Still waiting on that Aquatrax.............
  4. LSMs can launch a train from a standstill. S:EFK is an example. The first launch at Verbolten looks like it definitely could be a block. If the train were to rollback it'll most likely rest on the level platform shown in the video capture. Source:
  5. Magnetic braking loses stopping force the hotter it gets so with the constant train cycling + summer heat, those trims will have no affect on the ride quality.
  6. Those "pits" in the upstop wheels look like they are caused by something on the track like a sharp edge or track junction that hadn't been ground down enough. Stress seems like it would cause more of a crack or stress fracture. The damage to that wheel seems to be concentrated to a particular area.
  7. B&M is staying away from "4-D" designs for the same reason they're staying away from launches. They are unreliable and require a large amount of maintenance resources. B&M likes "tried and true" designs which is what keeps their coasters off of park maintenance/downtime reports. I'm not saying there will never be a B&M launched coaster (Hulk's launch wasn't designed by B&M) or 4-D, but I see it as HIGHLY unlikely.
  8. ^Well the article clearly says the plug was "leaking" so it was faulty. To be fair, no one except the park mechanics know the layout of the Hydraulic system on this simulator so it's a possibility the plug came off from above the mechanic. I'm just throwing that out there. Glad he wasn't seriously injured as hydraulic systems can be extremely dangerous.
  9. Even with the Hydraulic pumps off there's still could be pressure in the hydraulic lines.
  10. ^^It's probably more so SF policy. Stupid policy.....but a policy nonetheless.
  11. Love the polo shirts on thew water dummies.
  12. ^Figured as much. Hopefully Premier didn't bite off more than they can chew with this train design.
  13. So um.........what about that new train from Premier? Are they installing that later.......did I miss something?
  14. Always loved the layout and the train really hauls a$$. The MCBR looked to not trim the train at all, Granted a fully loaded train may get trimmed.
  15. ^^The computer waits until the entire train is on the lift and then the lift speeds up.
  16. Native resolution for my MacBook is 1280 x 800. If i could get the following images as such, I'd be forever grateful. I'll PM you my email address. Thanks again!!
  17. Source: Galveston Pier Brake run is looking good right on the edge of the water.
  18. Fantastic photos as usual! I have 3 or images alternating as wallpapers for my MacBook. Thanks for sharing.
  19. It's always squeezed the brake fin. It uses a tremendous amount of pressure thus why the catch cars are Hydraulic.
