  1. ^^^KBF is open 7 days a week all year with exception of Christmas day.
  2. I wouldn't mind if KBF did something along the lines of Skyrush.
  3. 2,000 Elephants on fire? Sounds exciting. I know I'd visit!
  4. I'm with you guys. I think you're right. With PP gone it opens up a lot of opportunities for expansion.
  5. This Giga has come up every year since 2004.
  6. The parks that have gigas had the luxury of doing construction while the parks were closed for the season. . If KBF is in fact getting any type of coaster, they will probably do what they did with SB. Do 1/2 the construction at night while the park is closed.
  7. I rode GR in '98 when it opened and it was amazing. Now not so much although it does have a great layout. Just a shame it's been allowed deteriorate like it has.
  8. ^This is a possibility. I think the California government just asked Disney for a bail-out as well.......
  9. Calm down killer. It was a joke. My bad if I ruffled feathers about GR. It is NOT the roughest woodie in existence you're correct in that statement. I can't agree more.
  10. ^^ & ^ Speak for yourself. Last time I rode GR I could've sworn it chipped a tooth.
  11. There's no helping GR. Only thing that would help GR is a match.
  12. Heart breaking read. Makes you respect Busch parks that much more.
  13. ^^It's rumored that Knott's asked for permission to build across Beach Blvd and/or La Palma and were denied by the city. With that said, using a parking lot for expansion won't be an option. ^Yes, Johnny Rockets and KOD share the same building. KOD was upstairs. The building isn't the same size upstairs anymore as it was modified to house Johnny Rockets' kitchen ventilation system. Most of the building is unsafe and a lot renovation would be required to bring the building up to code in general let alone add a dark ride. Not impossible but not sure the park would want to invest time and money into that. I personally would love to see a high quality dark ride but don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.
  14. Here's PP's replacement. Apparently Caterpillar is in the amusement ride business.....
  15. Yea 2nd(aka 3rd) generation boats have 1/2 the splash the 1st gen did.
  16. ^^ Technically yes! Same way X @ SFMM has technically had 3 generations as well. Those belts were absolutely horrid. A boat dispatched every 5-7 minutes.
  17. Did you ride with the 1st or 2nd generation boats? 1st Gen 2nd Gen
  18. ^All ages should be able to appreciate those great artists.
  19. Yes considering SB, GR, Boomerang, Zoom and XC have put through a million+....... lol "Thousands." That's funny.
  20. ^Correct, it goes both ways. The manufacturer's theoretical capacity could be above or below what the actual capacity is.
  21. With 5 trains it's even better! It was nice meeting again BTW. Even if it was for only 30 seconds......
  22. ^^That's the best time!! Capture the tourists that will be coming to Cali to visit said attractions.
  23. ^Oh yea........That too! Something else to to think about.........A Fahrenheit clone would fit in PP's plot of land. Just throwing that out there. It's not going to happen but something to wish for.
