  1. The ride looks amazing, and how fast it goes is purely indescribable from what I've heard. I have just one question, I've been to Dubai in the U.A.E. and there was practically nobody walking around outside like it looked like there would be. It seems the U.A.E. is supposed to hold a lot of people, but from how much it costs to fly there, will there be a lot of people?
  2. Wow, this is cooler than the time I was evacuated from Journey to Atlantis in Sea World (Orlando) before the first largest drop; too many stair cases! You guys are lucky you got food vouchers and fast passes, all I got was a ticket to skip the line for the same ride!
  3. Revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain Two weeks ago. Caution: video file may be big. v SANY0028.MP4 My footage of the revolution.
  4. Believe me, they were literally all over the park, they were so close to other people that a kid almost caught one of them. My family likes to travel, but I'm the only coaster enthusiast . -Marcus
  5. Wild Eagle looks awesome and so does the rest of the park and your photos. That giant box was DarkRaver (As seen from the photo), and inside was a Round-up ride with its own theme music... scratch that, LOUD theme music! From the looks of someone's youtube video, it is probably the coolest round-up ever! (Spoiler Alert: This video is a pov of the ride taken by a random youtuber.)
  6. Cool photos, I haven't been to Kings Island ever since I was 5 years old (kids travel cheap ya know!), so don't remember a thing except for riding the racer wich was so much fun. Someday I'll go back, and again cool photos!
  7. Hello, I'm Midgetman82. Recently (or two weeks ago), I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain. Enough to be said because I'm pretty sure you would want to go straight to the pictures, either read this or just scroll down now. Anyways, SFMM that day was extremely crowded because it was a nice Saturday. All of the effects on coasters were working, Most roller coasters were open, but Ninja was closed . When I say crowded, I mean every single line had at least a one hour wait; and because of all the waiting AND the fact that I had to get out of LA early to be able to leave at all, my coaster count came up short: X2-1, Tatsu-1, Superman: The Escape-1, Terminator: Salvation-1, and Revolution-1. My dad literally timed with his watch to see how long it would take for us to get to the rides: (hours) X2-1½, Tatsu-2, Superman-1, Terminator-2, Revolution-½. I don't like that fact, but the coasters were awesome. This was my first time riding X2, Tatsu, and Terminator and they all ruled the park, Though X2 is the most epic. The day may have been crowded, but I had fun ! Here is a video for your enjoyment: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Six_Flags_Magic_Mountain_k4kw[/coastertube] And now , here are those pictures : Waking up at the nearby Embassy Suites for... (Insert Trumpet Fanfare here) SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN!!! Epic Monstrosity! Flying Orange Dragon?! Took a few pictures of the waterpark. Great overview! Super crowded crowds! Hello! I'm the one who's taking the photo before this one^! Still a lot of people! I could give a caption, but I'll leave that to you. The cool, shaded line for X2. Did you know... Nearby Viper Action! Uh Oh... AAAAHHHHHH!!! Hi! Hello! In the line for X2, they were showing videos of kids from Break.com hurting themselves. Epic Sign! Epic track directions! Epic Inversion! Epic Food! (Enough said of "EPIC" proportions!) My food! Aww, come on! A two hour wait for Tatsu! Did you know... Cool Lift hill! Almost epic photo! The Station "Assume the position..." "Did you go to the bathroom?" FEET! "Look mom, I'm flyin'!" Next up, 100 miles per hour! I'm not crying, I was laughing... you believe me don't you?! "I am powerful, bow down to me... hello?" Got bored and started to listen to music, also that is my camcorder I record from. *gasp*, exposed! "Gues who?!" "Not Superman, thats who." Coming off the ride! Definitely not worth the 1 hour wait, nor any wait longer than 40 minutes (sorry Six Flags). Ooh, I rode my first SkyCoaster in SFKK. I've never been on Deja-vu but my brother tells me its awesome! OMG, A NO0B! (*growls like a chihuahua*) The best and newest wooden coaster I have ever been on, my family thought it was going to be rough... we were all wrong and loved it! OOOH, I almost forgot. I saw a picture of this here on Theme Park Review website and thought I would have seen this, I was right and here it is in Superman: The Escape. Whoever took that other picture, well the glass is still broken. My dad noticed this on Terminator Salvation and thought it should be pushed back in, I though if they did that it might crack, or worse. You debate. The queuing had pretty good theming, it would have made a little more sense if it was indoors, but that is just wrong; besides, this is my favorite wooden roller coaster so far! Uh-Oh, whats in there? Note: my dad innocently took pictures inside, but I won't post them. If you have never been on this roller coaster, GO ON IT!!! "We apologize for the delay, but we are experiencing technical difficulties." SON OF A ***********! weeee! It was fun! "Ey-Yo, we just got off Revolution boy." p.s. thats what they say now... "ey-yo"! Cool picture! Well, this is goodbye peeps! Gertrude and Beth are still here I see! Sunset picture! Thank you for viewing this Trip Report, but before I go I present to you: A Random Panorama! Larger picture link: http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq186/midgetman82/PanoramaofSFMM.jpg?t=1272063481 ---Marcus
  8. Wow, there really is a lot of rides that could never be in the U.S., like the pedal powered rockets, or the Nautic Jets, or the roundabout. I really liked your trip report and the pictures you took!
  9. ^ Feeling happy < Feeling okay v How you feeling?!
  10. These pictures are great, I also like how you had some of the other nearby rides in sight with the new one. To answer what the vending machine said, they will be ready!
  11. None of those (I've been called many things online, but this is the first I've been called 'Wise A$$'.). I won't try to bring one on any, I'll just film off-ride. Sorry if I am getting annoying.
  12. ^I'm just saying, usually when I read the guidelines for roller coasters and waterslides, roller coasters specifically say "no cameras...", waterslides say "no loose articles...". Maybe camcorders apply to 'loose articles'. I guess not everyone is trying to bring a camera/camcorder onto a waterslide. My guess now is that even camcorders aren't allowed on waterslides.
  13. ^Does this apply to waterslides?
  14. No, I have a waterproof camcorder. Sanyo VPC-WH1 (Color yellow)
  15. I too have a question: I'm also a huge Waterpark enthusiast and always read the guidelines and the rules to see if there is anything about bringing loose articles on rides. If the guidelines don't say anything about bringing camcorders, or any loose articles onride, is bringing a camcorder on a waterslide permissible? Lets say if all the lifeguards at a waterpark let me film going down all waterslides, is this okay, should I contact the park owner first, or is it just not allowed at all?
  16. Dang, I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain during Spring Break but because of the flight times and the crowdedness, my coaster count was very low: (in order) X2---1 Tatsu---1 Superman: The Escape---1 Terminator Salvation---1 Revolution---1 My family did not want to stay very long because they get tired easily, also flights out of California were book completely so we HAD to get out of California immediately. This seriously looked like a job for (Insert Trumpet fanfare here), Flash Pass!
  17. This coaster looks awesome, but I've ridden it at SFOG, not cool at all; I had a headache the rest of the day and the day after.
  18. To get an Idea for how long the wait was for the rides(in hours): X2--2½ to 3 Tatsu--2 Superman--1 Terminator--2 (not including the 45 min. technical delay) Revolution--½
  19. Believe me, if I were to have more time, I could have ridden more coasters which means that there would have been more pictures of different rides. But my dad planned for us to go on a Saturday during Spring Break, not a very good choice. Since my brothers wanted to hit the best-of-the-best rides, we rode the more intense rides which each had a wait of at least one and one half hours long. The really really sad part about the whole trip is that my coaster count for SFMM today was short: Coaster----------How many times ridden X2--------------------------1 Tatsu----------------------1 Superman: The Escape--1 Terminator: Salvation---1 Revolution----------------1 Another factor that led us to ride so little rides is because we had to leave LA Immediately. The flights out of LA the next day and the day after were full. We ended up going to Las Vegas but didn't do anything because our flight out of Vegas was there already. Anyways I got home on time and I'm very happy that I rode rides that I've never been on. Enjoy the pictures I have! ADMIN EDIT: I have removed the video posted because it includes an illegal POV that violates Six Flags Magic Mountain's park rules as well as our own Terms of Service. Found this in the Chicago Airport. On the airplane, guess what I watched to kill time? Yep, Coaster Expedition volume 12 Beware of the Magic Donkey at Lotte World! Woke up at Embassy Suites ready for... (insert trumpet fanfare here)... Six Flags Magic Mountain! X2 looks epic! Same goes for Tatsu! Even though it was closed, I thought I might insert some pictures of Hurricane Harbor. I never rode Colossus today, but it did look like fun! My dad planned for us to go on a Saturday... Worst choice ever. There is a lot that can be said here, but I'll leave that for you to make up! First ride with the longest line, X2! This was the most epic roller coaster I have ever been on. I also saw Viper! Weee! Oh noes! Yayy! During the line for X2, they were showing videos of kids brutally hurting themselves. All videos were from Break.com Epic Ride Sign! Epic ride track! Epic ride inversion! Epic ride facts! Epic ride inversion #2! Epic food! (enough of the epic stuff.) My food! Aww, no photo. Long Lines for Tatsu! I didn't know that, thank you! Lift hill for the awesome roller coaster, Tatsu. "Look mom, I'm flyin'!" Cool part of Terminator: Salvation. Well come back to that. Looking at Deja-vu and Terminator: Salvation. Superman the Escape was pretty good, the ride line made it seem more intense than was. Who's this? (*gasp*)! By the way, that piece of glass is still broken. Oh well. Looking at Terminator salvation, I noticed a loose plank of wood on the coaster. Someone should fix it. Eww, what happened?! Looking at the preshow room door from outside. And so we end the day with a small coaster count. I am not kidding when I saw Gertrude and Beth all over the park trying to get the most out of what they missed from WCB. Gertrude yelled at me not to take her picture, oops! Cool sunset photo! Lets end this with a panorama. Mall of America, here I come! (Larger photo: http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq186/midgetman82/PanoramaofSFMM.jpg?t=1270493829 )
  20. For my videos I use the Sanyo Xacti VPC-WH1 waterproof camcorder because I film waterslides with it. I also rarely use a Sony DVD-DCR 205. For pictures I use a canon powershot S3 IS camera. I am saving money to get the Sony HDV-FX7 high definition professional camcorder. Please don't take this as a rub-in-your-face kind of thing because you don't have flash. If this does offend you, sorry!
  21. Yes, a little. Have you ever walked off of any Vekoma head bangers... with-out a headache?
  22. ^ Asking to get off < Asking if my username matches avatar v Asking "how are you?"
  23. Okay, I'm going top have to say oww to Credit Crazy, Paintballer, and SkyCoastin' Steve.
  24. Six Flags is to come out of its bankruptcy by having other people take over Six Flags: Six Flags, bondholders reach proposal to end bankruptcy
  25. Breakfast: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Lunch: Italian Hoagie Food right now: Arbys! Mozzarella is a little salty.
