I would like to see Colossus get the full, totally crazy, Rocky Mountain treatment... that would be fantastic! The 'ice queen' was kind of boring when she wasn't tripping all over herself speaking. LL:DOD looks totally awesome, I can't wait to ride it! I also can't wait to read reviews of members on here that have ridden it and experienced the tower shake while Superman also runs, I really like thw way thet have that timed so that when Superman gets to the top and starts to fall, Lex drops at the same time..... nice touch!

^Well then maybe SHE should leave! That is something that would annoy me enough to get her name and complain to guest services or management about that. That is unprofessional and rude- obviously she does not want to have a job there. -

Of course from FB... Ill informed. Me too! Amen! WTF? Interesting *sigh* I wish! Yup. What? Where is this article? Well the only thing I could find that I don't think was posted on here was this little bit, that all but confirms (besides the other obvious things) what this is.... Well, in more than a decade and there was also some pics on the LA times site but they were from other coasters so no point in posting them here.

You now, it IS possible that it would not have made any difference who they went with as if this was some crazy unforseen problem that came up, it could have happened with Intamin, or ANYBODY else. You know, stuff happens and sometimes out of the control of anybody. I don't think I would say they were wrong to go with this company or even that they got 'ripped off', it's too early to tell and that is just not fair. If this had been built by Intamin and this downtime issue happened, would you be saying they went with the wrong company, or should have picked one with proven technology, or got ripped off? No, I don't think so. Let's be fair about this. Yeah downtimes suck especially when they are frequent and excessive but THIS IS STILL A BRAND NEW RIDE so stuff like this can happen until it is worked out. Yes, I would be annoyed by it but I would not start bashing the park for 'picking the wrong manufacturer' or the company that built it as you just don't really know.... do you?

Seems like that would be a way to unnecessarily decrease capacity, though. Not really. Each side holds what, eight people? So you're essentially running a 16-person drop tower, it just so happens that those people are separated on opposite sides. It's no different from any other Intamin drop tower in the entire world. The only thing that decreases capacity is that this thing isn't a gyro drop that holds 56 people at a time. Yes, really. Because if a guest is being slow to load/doesn't fit the noodles/etc, it will hold up the dispatch time of the other side. If they were to both load and dispatch independently, they could have a higher operational capacity because each side could dispatch immediately when it was ready. It can't lower a capacity that didn't even exist. It was given a capacity estimate based on this setup - again, the same setup found around the world on countless drop towers. There was no capacity to be lowered because this is the capacity, plain and simple. And there is likely no way for the ride to have been set up to run independently - there isn't room for two sets of pulleys and winches and everything necessary to run the ride. Just curious... how do you know this for certain, do you work for Intamin or design any of their rides? As it has been shown many times over with various rides around the world there is ALWAYS a way to do something so to just say it is not possible is pretty much not correct. I just want to know since you seem so passionate about this point and another thing about Intamin drop towers in general, since you seem to know, if 6 cabins are lifted by the SAME SINGLE lift mechanism they why don't they all travel up at exactly the same time? A lot of times they each reach the top at different times/speeds and if one lift is doing this, how is it possible? Because of this fact it appears that EACH CABIN has its own lift and if that's true then it can also be true on this ride. If the standard drop towers can have multiple lifts inside the tiny tower then surely this ride can have two separate lifts as there is plenty of room. This post ends the capacity debate...

That is a bit unfair. I am free to disagree and offer a personal opinion, arent I? That automatically means I'm troling? Not everyone in this world will think like you. But anyway, a few things said above have made me think again. I've only been twice to BGW, and maybe don't fully understand the heritage of the animals. ... ok and yes you are entitled to your opinion but, it seems I am not the only one who thinks that way but that's fine.

Trolling in another thread I see.... whatever. If you are let down by the cars then that is just sad. Also, I reject your reality and insert my own... -
So SEAworld without the SEA animals would be what then... Ridetown? Why would they only have those two options? Why not just get rid of the animals, tear out the rides, and build a giant mall with apartments nearby? I guess the THOUSANDS of visitors that go to those parks to see the animals are kidding themselves too.

My b. Someone definitely told me that the park sent a train to Green Lantern, and now only had one train. Last few times I went, the ride was only running one train as well. My poor mistake-_____- Do you know why the park runs one train more frequently? I went on days when Riddlers would have one train going and quite a wait, while Scream was walk on with two trains. It had 3 trains. One was sent away. They ran one train while they rehabbed the other for what seemed like forever, etc.

Really, 15 MINUTE dispatches? They may have been slow but that seems excessive. Also, why would the employees be staring you down? That just seems really strange.
