Great White at Morey's tonight. It was incredibly rough

Morey's Piers at some point this week.

^^ I only heard the lift hill audio and it consisted of "lose yourself" by Eminem with random growling sounds mixed in and something before that I didn't recognize. Perhaps the Eagles? Throughout the ride there is random music. I don't really know how to describe it except that it's now random music clips instead of random sound bytes from famous movies.

Bizarro at SFNE

^I rode today and can confirm that the audio has been changed. In other SFNE news, parking was $20 today, but the park was dead in the afternoon which was nice. The m&m stairs are back, and Trident Layer is on the other side of the steps.

I was just talking to my friend on Facebook about his trip to Japan, and I wanted to post a screen shot, but it had a lot of names in it that I didn't feel like blacking out. He said: Universal Studios Japan sucks. The roller coaster doesn't even go upside down. ... *sigh

I got home from work today at about 9:15 PM and my mom gave me a package and said, "Hey this came for you in the mail today." I took the package; my first TPR bag of crap!!! (Sorry for low quality photos, but I don't have a real camera.) Also, the mystery DVD was Coaster Expedition Volume 6. It's really entertaining. Thank you so much!!! Look at all this crap! This is awesome! Very reminiscent of Cedar Fair Parks. It reminds me ALOT of Carowinds.

^I disagree with you about the Maverick vs. Stormrunner argument. If you look at Holiday World's existing thrilling coasters, none of the three are gimmicky and are complete and fairly long rides. Maverick is a complete ride whereas IMO Stormrunner is too short and would not fit in well at a place like Holiday World.

I think they should spend the money to make SoB good again, because even if they spend the 20 million to build a new ride, they still have that eyesore sitting there looming over the park. It would also probably cost them a fortune to take it down, so I think the Rocky Mountain treatment would be an awesome idea, but I doubt they want to spend that kind of money trying to fix it again.

I really like that Parallax thing, and now the yellowness of the loop almost "fits" the theme!

This park does look really cool! The shot of their rides along that body of water is really pretty. I too am now interested in seeing a trip report.

I find it interesting that of the four parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, Animal Kingdom is the only park that saw an increase, while the other three saw decreased crowds.

^I agree with you. While I cannot imagine losing a family member, or a child at that, it is stupid to try to blame the park when the ferris wheel is in perfect working condition. Someone from the group she was with should have been with her, and that is not the park's fault. If the family does file a lawsuit and wins it would frustrate me to no end.

This ride looks insane! I love how high that first element is off the ground, and how well the course flows.

Now that Intamin has done Cheetah Hunt we know that they can pull off the "family launched coaster." I would love to see Holiday World add a coaster like Cheetah Hunt. Perhaps with a dark ride portion, but no need for three launches. I think one would be enough. I would love to see it hug the ground like Cheetah Hunt, and Holiday World always does a good job of blending their coasters in with the existing landscape, so I know that they would be able to pull it off!

That's really cool! I give credit to him for keeping his concentration while upside down.

Went and saw The Hangover Part 2 last night, and it was quite entertaining, but not nearly as clever or clear as the first one.

Ouch. That was rough for the Canucks, but I'm just curious what made Vancouver keep Luongo in after 4,5,6,7 goals were scored against him.
