I actually really enjoy the Hurler at Carowinds. I don't know why, but I've gotten some really great rides on it this season.

Definitely twisty! It's insanely twisty. I still cannot believe that Gravity Group fit this ride in such a tiny space and made it so awesome at the same time.

*like* This is great news that will hopefully bring America closer together, but as said above it is certainly not over.

On a slightly tangential note, I have seen security called for people throwing things off Intimidator at Carowinds, but not Drop Tower.

I like the Era of NFS underground and I really REALLY like Most wanted. I want them to go back and make an Underground for the new generation that is GOOD! Otherwise I'll just stick to Forza.

Nice pictures! SeaWorld is such a beautiful park! I'm glad you liked Manta and Kraken, as I would put them both in my top 25 coasters!

It's nice to see B&M branching out with their flying coasters. Tatsu and Manta are my two favorites that I've ridden, and I like their new custom flying coaster's look a lot!

Chris Higgins' goal tonight was great, and I am so proud to have his high school jersey on my wall! Rinne was amazing as well!

^Sorry Robb I didn't mean to single them out, but the thread was about Six Flags raising their rates so I only thought to talk about their parking.

Holy crap! That first drop is so ridiculous! This looks like one of the most out-of-control layouts I've ever seen on a coaster.

High parking charges have always been an inherent quality of the Six Flags company as long as I've visited their parks, and it's just something that we have to either accept and grumble quietly about, or get a parking pass for the season. Not much that can be done here, but I do agree that it does make a poor first impression.

Wow! I was there last month and I saw most of these props covered up by a black screen/tarp thing. It looks really awesome with all those effects and the choir. I can't wait to go back down to Seaworld.

Ya I feel bad for the Australian gamers who really wanted to play MK9 I don't really see a way to tone it down without taking away from the gameplay. Plus, many people buy Mortal Kombat FOR the gore so if it somehow were changed to fit that MA15 rating in Australia I don't think it would sell very well.

Is anyone out there? The Sabres look dead out there! Ryan Miller is 15/16 in the first period. Buffalo really needs to step up its level of play in the 2nd if they plan on even evening the score.

Although I too would love a B&M wingrider or Intamin "4D," but I think a chainlift mega-coaster would be so cool over near Comet Hollow! I don't really care, but that's what I picture in that spot in my imagination.

I voted for Intamin simply because the majority of my top ten are Intamins, and they really push the envelope in creativity and intensity.

^That mentality of the GP irks me to no end. Even when I'm with my friends I'll say something to the effect of "that simply is not true." Just because it is made out of wood does not necessarily make it "the oldest most unsafe ride EVER!"

Hurler at Carowinds

I've only been on four, but I'm not too disappointed.

^I have been three times in the last 2 weeks and I thought it was awesome, but I have not been a Carowinds pass-holder until this season. The lines have been fairly minimal in my opinion with the longest being for ricochet and obviously Intimidator, but the Intimidator line cruises! Just got back and I have to say the park thoroughly impressed me and I will have to put up a photo TR in the next few days.

^I'm getting it for Xbox 360, and I'm really excited because we got the shaft on the demo so I haven't even seen the game with my own eyes and won't until Tuesday afternoon. Go Scorpion!
